i randomly found your video and just now was inspired to use my sulfur powder (dithane m45) as an "ointment" to one of my monsteras with rust fungus. i always sprayed it as a diluted solution on the leaves, but after seeing you coat your stem and all parts of the plant, i figured i tried it as well. it was an easy subscribe for me. keep up the good content and update us always on your many journeys!

@@WinnieLuthienThye thanks! it was one of my first ones, so there were quite a number of mistakes i made on it hehe. it's fine and not dying, but it isn't giving me new leaves either, so i try and find creative ways from videos like yours with hopes of addressing its issues or things i haven't tried on it :)

The idea of root coming out from the new plant is something new to me too. The stem being the only source of energy of the upcoming plant as well. I have an anthurium stem (Radicans) in the same process and your video gives me like "Oh yeah...that is why!" moment to me. Took mine almost three months too and then the roots followed. I wonder when is the best time to move it to a usual potting setup for anthurium..Suggestions? Very helpful video as always!! :)

thank you!! Im glad you found the video helpful :) I reckon I would move mine to the usual substrate when the roots fill the pot substantially. I did that with my other propagation. I didn't remove the moss tho, I just plopped it into a slightly bigger pot as is and added the "other" substrate on the side.
