Since this track was made with very little context in mind I don't really have a whole lot to say about it other than that I'm happy with how this turned out, and I hope you all enjoy it too!

After all. In the pacifist route it is implied that he absorved the 6 human souls. Other wise. He wouldn't be able to take the soul of a living monster. Less the souls of the entyre monster kind

@@silverbone4845 now this is my personal opinion speaking, but I find Underfell kinda boring and cliché (not to mention the fact that it ended up being used for Fontcest more than anything else). My personal favorite type of AUs are roleswap ones, since they can provide interesting insight on the characters by writing them into a different context. Sorry for the tangent/rant, I didn't mean for it to come off like that.

Id imagine when he says the soul trait the corisponding soul apears with a flash of light and when he say now the first attack starts summoning a fire tornado and swinging his trident super fast

Perseverance and determination mean the same thing, so if the red soul has to be determination, the two souls must have a different type of the same thing. I googled the definitions of both words and Determination is sometimes refered to as the desire to achieve something despite the difficulty, and is associated with decision making. Perseverance is more so the deed itself. I imagine this has to be based on the fates and traits of the souls. Bravery was fearlessly traveling through the underground but the confidence must've turned against them. Patience was the opposite and would rather hold back from moving on their journey or doing anything. I'd imagine they could end up stuck in ruins if they were to fall last instead of Frisk. Kindness was propably pacifistic but not determined enough to continue or too weak to fight. Justice definitly weren't a pacifist but not genocidal either. They must've killed some monster(s?) at some point. Perhaps they were doomed once they ran out of bullets. Perseverance would or could focus on exploring the underground, they seem to be a bit of a 🤓 cause of cloudy glasses and torn notebook. Possibly not much of a fighter. The integrity may have been kinda rude and that's what got in trouble. That or since they all weren't as determined as Frisk was, they at some point acted contradictory to their traits which is what led them to their deaths. Of course, they all apparently have made it to Asgore but that can mean they were captured by monsters and transported to Asgore.

So nah, here it's more likely genocide route where he actually listened to Flowey and Didn't waste time waiting Sans die like a morron. tho Chara wouldn't stand against Asgore 6 souls, he'd just load first save before Toriel interrupted Flowey and tis how he gets the 7th soul. Right in front of Toriel. He'd probably would talk with her... she'd deny him, he'd say "Fuck you BITCH, that doesn't matter, now I will fix everything" and this is how he'd finish undertale in 10 seconds.

She couldn't hit Asgore as a kid, but she could start fighting him equally as an adult, having stated that he was actually really proud of her the first time she knocked him down during sparring. I agree that Asgore wasn't all there when fighting Frisk, but I don't think he was deliberately holding back; he was conflicted, and that severely reduced his AT and DF and caused Frisk to be able to survive any attack if they had more than 1 HP, but he was still using his bullet patterns to the best of his ability and still kills Frisk if he beats them.

​@awp4444 It's always been my headcanon that since Flowey had no soul of his own, he couldn't truly assimilate the human souls and only used their powers. That's why they can be so easily removed and do their own things to help the player while Flowey seems unaware. If a proper monster absorbed them I'd assume it would work like a fusion with the monster being in control and the souls just being ghosts that follows you around Chara style

It would be cool if Asgore had a fight with Sans before fighting the human in that AU. The idea would be that Sans doesn't want Asgore to outmatch the human's determination, take their soul, and break The Barrier. If he does then there would be no way to reset time before that happens, and everyone that died to the human, including Papyrus, would stay dead. On the other hand, Asgore would want to do this because relying on the human, the same human who caused all this grief and destruction in the first place, to rewrite time on their own terms is a bad idea. It would be much better for the future of monsterkind as a whole to cut their loses, despite it being saddening to do so, and create a bright future for generations to come. Such a fight would be quite hectic. Asgore, despite his ingame appearance, is really powerful and is capable of dodging as referenced by Undyne. The two would spam their magical attacks at each other and constantly move out of the way of projectiles. Though, as expected, Sans would be no match for Asgore and be killed by him when he realizes it's useless to keep living in the past, and to just let Asgore do what he wants because, whether he likes it or not, it is the better option.

When Toriel asks us if we prefer cinnamon or caramel and we answer the same as the previous route, she mentions that with the other humans when he saw them he had the feeling of seeing "an old friend." As for Asgore, if during his battle you tell him that he has already killed you several times, instead of being confused or whatever he just nods his head sadly, as if he had already heard it or was expecting it.

Yeah, you could make it a proper fight up till the end, where the power of the six souls is too much for you, with the fight shifting to an impossible fight, resulting in your loss, and claiming of your soul, giving a chance for Ashore to be the hero he always was, free monster kind, and save the world from destruction.

Imagine fighting Asgore in the genocide route, his kingdom destroyed, everyone he knew obliterated, he has no reason to hold back any longer now. Determination fills the room, but it is not of your own.

I think it's almost fitting he doesn't fight back tbh. With everyone dead... what does he have to fight for? Wuth the exception if when his children were murdered, he's never been shown to be vengeful. And considering that vengeance likley died before the first human fell. With no one to protect, why would he go all out? Whats the point? His primary motivation was to protect them. They weren't the ones holding him back they were the ones DRIVING him forward, it was his own morals of right and wrong holding him back. Now without any drive, he can truly be himself. In these moments where there is no kingdom to protect, he can be who he, deep in his heart, is. A kind man who scares knows rage. A man who can look at the one who murdered everything he knew and loved, and still offer compassion.

Turning away, his last gaze would be a mix of contempt and fury, yet also something else. Something nearly unknowable even to himself. Seven canisters open, only one of them holding a SOUL. His low-bellowed voice rises one last time, like the sun rearing its head over Golden Flowers long-since deprived of its light. "There is no true JUSTICE for your kind. I've seen it. Only strength." It sounded nearly like a surrender, a melancholy or an attempt to reconcile with whatever demons had haunted him on that day. The silence that followed after is almost deafening. Yet he soon follows up his response. His voice rising in a near intense fury at the Human. "Yet you and your kind should fear a man who has lost nearly everything. Rather then one who has lost nothing." A circular inferno begins to blaze. The fire is rich in a completely blue blaze, and it contains only the Human and the Mountain King. He raises his Trident in an upper fashion, intending to fully slash and pierce the Humans chest. The Human takes one last gaze at the Mountain King. And can only see flames and tears within his blue and orange eyes.. ... The battle begins..

I see this as an alternate genocide route where Asgore is really warned about YOU. At the barrier where he'd be, he tries to talk to you, even knowing you took the life of his beloved ex-wife, even though you took the life of the apprentice he taught so much, even after you turning almost all of his population to ashes. It's a last-ditch effort to try to understand. When he realizes the monster you've become, taking a hit-kill attack, remembering his people and all the people he loved, Asgore would cast aside all his guilt and finally do what's right, ending YOU for his people, before Flowey attacks Asgore with his petals, the souls hidden in Asgore's cloak would come out, and he'd use them to become an all-powerful being. Asgore would fight YOU without remorse. This time, the destiny wouldn't just be between humans and monster, but of everything in this world. The empty entity they call YOU against a tragic GOD, both determined, one to destroy this world, the other to renew it. Only one of them will come out victorious.

@@curlyfordoge4366 Well kinda or it could be one where it's past a Genocide Route technically corrupting all other routes made otherwise like I'm not sure it it would work but imagine after absorbing the Human Souls you get flashs of previous memories thought erased and gone from the timelines one of Neutral another of Good and lastly Bad. Basically not 100% but would a Monster absorbing a Human Soul bring back memories of thought to be forgotten timelines kinda like Sans in a way? 🤔

Sans doesn't remember the other timelines, he's just good at reading your expressions + has prior knowledge from "our reports [on] the time-space continuum" so he knows that resets exist. 2.) To undo a Genocide Run, you need to perform a True Reset (like after Pacifist). We know this because Flowey, a determined being who can remember when you load a SAVE file, has his memories wiped afterwards too (otherwise he would immediately run away from you/tell Asgore you're coming for killing him in the Genocide run). So because of this, I do not think absorbing a human SOUL would let Asgore remember any Genocide Run you did, because if Flowey gets his memory wiped I imagine the human SOULs do too.

Asgore in canon can dodge as well. So not only he has one of the BIGGEST health pools in the game, he can dodge with some HUGE stamina behind that. Also, in the original fight the attacks get faster the longer the fight goes on, so this would be _THE_ true nightmare.

Yea I know that it's natural determination on her end but, still, even in the neutral run she dies after a set amount of turns once you bring her Hp to 0, mostly cause its like a mid fight cutsence, Unlike Asgore whcih is the same fight experience for ending route except Geno and True Pacifist's

Second chance:Kingtale A alternate timeline where frisk gives Asgore their soul in exchange for a deal. Instead of the monsters freedom simply bring back what sparked that desire in the first place. Reset to before his children died. Have it so that Asriel and Chara would be brought back and remember everything. Yet act like nothings wrong since their just happy to be together again. But over time have things go wrong. Have Asriel glitch in and out of hyperdeath or have Chara get the same illness from the flowers despite not taking them in this timeline. And worst of all have the other humans fall into the underground soon after Asgore's awakening. With Asriel being the most on edge with Frisk once they meet. Since this is something new and have Frisk regain the reset button since their determination dominates everyone else's. But have it linked to Asgore's save file since he was the last to reset. Making it so that although Asgore has his life back and everyone is alive again. Frisk can take it all away. Probably make it so that this is like glitchtale Frisk that they did everything and decided to try something new. So this seemed like the best option since if anyone deserved the power to fix their mistakes it would be the dreemurr's and Asriel had his chance, Chara's dead, and its not like Toriel will even humor the idea.

Imagine if during this fight you have to keep using your acts to change to different soul modes just to survive Asgores attacks. Every soul mode a voice from one of the Human souls telling you "You can do this" and when ever you switch back to red you get a message in a pinkish tint saying "I wish it didn't have to end like this" or "I didn't mean for him to die."

@penitente3337 genocide is the most fitting route to see every bit of Asgires strength. To see him without compassion for the players avatar. Just like how we saw the true strength of Undyne, Mettaton, and Sans, this would be the only context feasible for it. A neutral or pacifist, Asgore would not have the intent to harm them. No reason to really. I get there IS a lot of focus from people on the Genocide, but in this case... its appropriate

@@thegamesquad5133 Are you under the impression that Mettaton NEO is weaker than normal Mettaton? Because that is incorrect. The players avatar at that point simply had far, far more power than them. Which was what it was about. Demonstrating how far the player has come down their path. It's safe to assume that Mettaton WAS giving it their all, even if he fell easily. Just because WE didn't get a battle, doesn't mean that wasn't his full strength.

at the end of a geno run, after flowey shot all of the messengers, asgore didn’t know about your doings other than the fact that a lot of people went missing. he led you to the barrier like in a neutral run, but flowey tried to absorb the 6 souls immediately. asgore stopped him by taking the souls and absorbing them himself, but in doing so, saw beyond the immediate area. he saw the dust scattered in the ruins, snowdin, waterfall, hotland, the core, and even in judgement hall. he became overcome with grief and gave up fighting immediately, hoping to die. flowey saw that asgore wasn’t fighting and decided to take control, grabbing his limbs and piloting them to attack with the trident. he didn’t do very well, but still put up a formidable challenge due to asgore’s powerful magic combining with the power of the souls
