the ending makes sense in that the phoenix peacock actually sent them as diversion as she regens and wait for the slayer of gods weapon to be revealed, if she was still alive the two demons would have destroyed her, before revealing the weapon.

I love the way these films just jump from non sequitur to absurdity to WTF with no sense of story-telling or sanity. It's just this drug induced fever dream. It has its own sense of charm. I remember making up these sorts of stories at age 5, when you paint yourself into a corner you just forget what happened and keep going.

A lot of movies are really good but most people dismiss them for being low budget. Even a movie with an amazing story will be negatively reviewed because “effects were bad”

@@darencolby1916 The story didn't even make much sense. What makes these short recaps so good is that they only show the interesting action parts and important scenes. They're essentially like trailers but instead explain the entire movie. Most crappy modern trailers show too much of the story for being a trailer but still not everything, mainly just the ending that's missing from em. This is essentially just the beginning, everything that would go into the trailer, and the end and it cuts out the rising action and falling action so we're left with the climax and a basic intro with the ending provided so it doesn't feel incomplete like a trailer. Most movies have a decent story line and alright visuals. Even with crappy visuals they can still succeed it's just that most movies put way too much padding and irrelevant dialog. They forget to follow stuff like chekhovs gun where they cram too much info irrelevant to the movie and bore the audience. Watchmen, for example, was a really good movie but it was poorly received and basically a financial dumpster fire because they decided to make it 3 hours and 35 minutes long. It had good visuals and a good story but when you make a movie as long as that then you better make the ending to perfection otherwise the audience is just left feeling like it was a giant waste of time. Even this movie would suffer because the leader they randomly found basically solved everything and killed the final boss for them. Had they all failed, she would've killed all the bad guys on her own anyway, she already died and resurrected so not even that would change. They'd eventually break into where she was hiding, kill her, then she'd revive as the unstoppable phoenix and 'win the game' alone with her newfound powers. The other cast members were given powerups but used it to hit the bad guy once then phoenix leader basically one shot both evil bosses with next to no effort. Terrible ending...

There are still other creatures yet to be faced and a mission to be accomplished as what the mid-credit scene implied. The movie's visuals are actually good but the story and the characters are fine.
