I have been a Registered Nurse for many years and I have witnessed death. I am a believer that our spirit lives on after death. One of the many deaths I will never forget is a gentleman who had not talked or sat up on his own for years one afternoon when I was caring for him he all of a sudden sat straight up in bed on his own and he was laughing and crying tears of joy and repeatedly saying I’m going home I’m going home. His face was so bright had no wrinkles like he had so many before. His voice was so clear giddy like a child and overwhelming happy. I felt his energy which was vibrating love, peace, and joy that I started to cry too. I was a little confused because I knew he was not going back to his earthly home. I realized he saw heaven as home and that’s where he was telling me he is going because he died one hour later.

My 94 year-old mother passed in 2017, a few days before she passed, she went into a coma. One morning while I was sitting with her, she said “Jesus” in her sleep, she hadn’t said anything in days, and that was the last word she said, she passed that evening with several of us around her. While I cried for days, and still cry, it made me happy to know that Jesus was there to welcome my mom home. ❤ I’ll never understand how people, even in their last moments, don’t want to hear about Jesus and His beautiful gift of eternal life.

Even though my grandmother grew up and went to church, we had a strong feeling that she wasn’t saved. But it was hard for me to speak to her as if she needed to get saved so I asked for a sign. I asked God to even let her see flames. Two weeks later, I got a phone call from my cousin who told me that my grandma who was in the hospital at the time started screaming in her room, begging people to put out the flames that she saw all around her my best friend and I came in And ministered the gospel to her and 95 years old she received Christ. I saw something leave her body and I saw something come into her body and two months later she passed away and went to be with the Lord.

Amazing story Matt... I had to share it to my own KZbin channel. I have a story about an uncle also, he was my uncle who died in 2009... he considered himself an agnostic... he hated everybody and he hated God the most... he was a lifelong homosexual, no wife, no children and at the end me his niece, was the only one who went to the hospital when he was dying because I felt prompted to go there. I was a pretty new Christian at the time and as I sat by his bed, he could hardly speak but he did whisper to me, "do you believe in God?" I answered yes I believe in God, I believe in his son Jesus Christ and I believe in the Holy Spirit ...he then whispered to me "how does one find God?". 94 years old and just days from death..sad..I bowed my head as I sat there and said inside myself, "Lord what do I do now?" All of a sudden, the 23rd psalm came into my mind. As a new Christian that was the only scripture I had memorized so far. My uncle did know the psalm so I suggested we say the psalm back and forth. I said the first line he whispered out the second line and so on until we were finished. There was nothing more to say then, so I went out to talk to the nurse and as we were speaking, she looked over my shoulder and her eyes widened. I turned around and there was my uncle who couldn't even get out of bed, toddling down the hallway towards me with the look of absolute sunshine coming from his face. The nurse left me to escort him back to bed and I wish I had been more mature in Christ that I knew what it was I was seeing then but I know now that God "spoke" to him somehow on that hospital bed and revealed Himself to my uncle...a few days later he died... I do believe I will see him in heaven.

I’m an RN. I’ve seen wonderful Christian death experiences. They’ve said they saw family members, angels and a bright light. Many died with a smile in their eyes. I’ve seen non-Christians die and it was horrifying. One woman said, “The devil is here! He’s coming to get me!” She was sitting up, terrified. Suddenly she said, “He’s got me.”, and fell back dead. I’ve seen a vile man die with the most terrified look on his face. Absolute horror. The doctor and a P.A. Were in there with me. Even after he was dead, his face was contorted with a silent scream, which is kinda impossible since all muscles should relax after death. The P.A. said she started going back to church because of it. One man, who was sexually inappropriate, took a couple of minutes of not breathing to die. He grabbed ahold of my shirt, trying to hold on to life. He had the most horrifyingly, terrified look on his face. Please, people, call on the Lord while you may be saved!

The devil only comes for those who are extreme sinners(think taking lives and hurting the innocent). GOD is a loving and forgiving God. You get many chances to repent and to learn yes, even after death. Not every person has a chance to become a believer before death. We all are His children. We cannot be rewarded the same but we are not punished for our iniquities if we repent and learn. Yes, even after a life review. It is easier to pass with a lighter and loving heart. But the hard passage can sometimes be due to dementia and mental illness and medical issues. Please don't try and scare ppl as a way to get them to believe. It just isn't true. God is thee Jesus is our savior but They are both kind and forgiving.
@michellecox6251Ай бұрын
@@breezeh1127 you are mistaken. You must show scriptural evidence for your claims. Where is purgatory in the Bible? Jesus talked about hell more than anyone else in the Bible. He is very explicit about the way to salvation as well. When you add other ways to get to heaven as you did above, you call Jesus’ crucifixion inadequate to save. The fact is, WE can do nothing to earn salvation. It is the free gift of God through the Cross. Here are instances of Jesus talking about hell. Read the scriptures. He’s not joking when He warns us. Even a cursory read-through shows Jesus talked about it plenty. In fact, Jesus talked about hell more than any other person in the Bible. In Luke 16, he describes a great chasm over which “none may cross from there to us.” In Matthew 25, Jesus tells of a time when people will be separated into two groups, one entering into his presence, the other banished to “eternal fire.” Jesus talks about hell more than he talks about heaven, and describes it more vividly. There’s no denying that Jesus knew, believed, and warned against the absolute reality of hell. Jesus doesn’t only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), where the worm does not die (Mark 9:48), where people will gnash their teeth in anguish and regret (Matt. 13:42), and from which there is no return, even to warn loved ones (Luke 16:19-31). He calls hell a place of “outer darkness” (Matt. 25:30), comparing it to “Gehenna” (Matt. 10:28), which was a trash dump outside the walls of Jerusalem where rubbish was burned and maggots abounded. There’s no denying that Jesus knew, believed, and warned about the absolute reality of hell. To tell people they can make up for their sins after death is, actually, cursing them to hell. Telling people that will certainly bring more condemnation and severe judgement upon yourself.

This year, my mother broke her hip at almost 90 years old and I knew the prognosis was poor and put a definite closure to her life, between a couple of months to up to a year. I was forthright with my mother, no time for games. Three weeks before she died she expressed a belief in Jesus Christ. My sister and I were so joyous and relieved. We had a hospice in our home for my son in law some years ago. He had become a Christian about a year earlier. It was Sunday night when my wife called me inside to come pray for him. He was very weak and struggling to breathe. I laid my hand on him and began to pray. Immediately I saw a vision of Jesus on the cross struggling to breathe. I began to struggle to breathe just as my son in law was also struggling to breathe. Then the vision ended and my son in law got up from the table and climbed into the hospice bed and became comatose. That night, I saw Jesus in a dream. I walked up to Jesus and handed him a document which was for my son in law. Jesus took the document and said, “He’s with me now.” Four days later my son in law passed. I believe four days is the longest the body can live without the spirit. Think of Lazarus being in the grave four days a Jesus called him back into his body. Jesus is holy, righteous and true. I was not present at the death of my ex father in law. One of my sons told me about his last moments though. As a man, he was a loving dad to his daughters and son. A doting husband. Hard worker. Good provider. Raised Roman Catholic. I’m sure he had his vices as we all do. I know smoking, (as I’m still dealing with off and on) he was a drinker as are many. He may also have had a pornography problem too. All in all he was a really ‘good guy’ though. He loved his grand kids so much too. He ended up getting cancer. Fought it much longer than expected. But on his deathbed, having not been responsive for a time, agonal breathing had started already…he sprang up, bolt upright with a look of terror, staring at a place in the room and cried out, ‘no! No! No!’…he was up, awake, aware, and utterly petrified. Then, he laid/collapsed down and died. This is a terrible thing to have witnessed and I don’t enjoy passing it along. If only anyone who was witness to it or hears of these kinds of things happening will stop and think why…we need to humble ourselves. To see how far we fall short. To know we have an unpayable debt that has been forgiven through our Lords sacrifice and resurrection. Pick up your Bible and read it. If you’re hesitant to start at the beginning, then start with the New Testament. Read those first four books. Then, keep reading. See for yourself what Jesus himself has to say. Ask yourself if anything in there might not be important, or meant half heartedly. Don’t trust in yourself. Don’t ’listen to your heart’. Read the word and pray the Holy Spirit convicts you.

@@johnmonk3381 Dr Evangelist Oliver B Green stated that at 1 time in his life he was called upon to come and preach the gospel(death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ-1 Corinthians 15:1-4) to a dying old man! His 4 strapping sons were there as a result of requesting Oliver to come! Mr Green preached the glorious gospel to this old heathen(I am and so are you), and the old man rejected all attempts to reach him! The elderly man asked for a drink of water, but was too weak to suck water through a quill(dates this story , doesn't it)! Then, unexpectedly, the old man sat erect and screamed, pull my feet out of the flames, for they are coming to take me to hell! The 4 sons, one on each 1/4, could not hold the old man down as he went screaming as his life ebbed from him! Hell is real! The final place of the damned is the lake of fire! @@KennyFisher-io4dm ok 🤣. A dying man can't be delusional too? Or have hallucinations?? The real hell is right here, right now when some people are already experiencing it, such as in gaza, lebanon, yemen and elsewhere, with the constant bombings and inferno. Does it matter how badly u'll burn when u won't even have a body??? 😂😂. So god will rehabilitate u to keep on suffering forever? 🤣🤣 Cool 😎 so let's keep changing human suits, shall we? Hell's gonna be where all the fun is, all the parties and latest happenings will be there. What then happens in heaven?? Well, if u think being in constant servitude of god while alive isn't enough, now u'll need to keep doing that and singing hymns and praises to god and attending church all day, maybe u prefer that kind of life. Pretty boring and pathetic, if u ask me. But the good news for me, none of that is real anyway, why should i fear something i haven't even seen, touched, or experienced!

My sister told me this story, one of the pastors told at her church. I think he was a visiting pastor. I think he was also a hospital employee. Anyway he was at a hospital in the inner city where there was a lot of gang violence all the time. One particular night there was a bad gang fight and they were all brought into the ER there. He was in the thick of it, and many of the gang members were dying when they were brought in. He said he was shocked because a lot of them started screaming in fear "Don't let them take me!!!". One young man was also dying, he was nearby and he grabbed the pastor's hand and said "What prayer do you say to get saved??!" And the pastor led him in the sinner's prayer. He said just a few minutes later the man laid back, closed his eyes and had this huge smile on his face and passed away.

Yes, it was the worst experience of my life, especially hearing his previous response to the offer of listening to the Gospel. As the days passed, with him showing no signs of life, except breathing, what i experienced in his last moments of his life, seemed to be the beginning of his realisation of the journey to eternal damnation in Hell. We must all understand and spread the importance of the last commission. Earlier in the year of the death of my late father-in-law I made an attempt to talk to him about the Lord. As I proceeded to try to talk to him he stopped me short and was told he didn’t want to hear it. He then told me his brother was at the house for a visit some years before and he looked my father-n-law in the face and told him he was going to Hell for not being a Jehovah’s Witness which the brother was. All I could tell my father-in-law was, “God loves you, Mr. Rex”. All he could do was stare was stare at me. My wife told me during the last few weeks he spent in the hospital a lady friend of his that he hadn’t talked to you in a while stopped by to visit. She ended up presenting the Gospel to my father-in-law again. From what I was told my father-in-law made a profession of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. Thank the Lord! That was a relief! Now my wife knows she will see her Daddy again!

I witnessed to my earthly father today. I begged him to confess his sins and to accept God’s love. He repeatedly blasphemed and mocked Jesus. It was almost pathological the way he would use anything he could, jokes, movie references, any esoteric thing. I told him he can either take Jesus as his legal counsel or he can try facing judgement on his own. He repeatedly insisted that he is above judgement and that Hell and Heaven aren’t real. I gave up. I was tired of hearing him mock Jesus. He can make fun of me all he wants, he has mocked my mother, me, and my faith, but I was tired of hearing him blaspheme Jesus. Some people find it offensive that they will face accountability for their actions. My father thinks he is above judgement. I wrote him off today. I made an idol of him in the past, I thought he was a cool dude, but he’s really just a weak minded and weak willed, scared little boy. My Heavenly Father is a man, he stands up for justice and he loves truth and virtue, whereas my earthly father cannot bear the truth and he hates virtue. It’s sad how simple the choice is, but that’s what loving truth does. It makes things clear with the light of our Lord, Jesus, he is the light of the world and he has helped me to understand that there are none so blind as those who will not open up their eyes and see. So be it.

I became a believer finally six months ago and I was able to tell him and he accepted as he knew he didn’t have long to live and he was worried as he had no clue as to whether he would go up or down, whilst in hospital he was having beautiful visions three days before he passed and even though he was weak and couldn’t speak properly he said that Jesus was waiting for him. The amazing thing is that he knew I didn’t believe before but when I explained what he needed to do he accepted and never once questioned what I told him, I think the fact that me telling him this when he had never heard me speak like this really resonated with him. Thank you Jesus.

What an eye opener of a story. I became a Christian at 17 years old, and now I'm 61. I was going through a trial of faith in 1988, so I went on a fast. On the 4th day, I had an outer-body experience where I was walking on a pathway of gold, I was dressed on a pure white tunic, a red sash around my waist, and a palm branch in my hand. There were many people on this path. I saw Jesus in front of us many yards away. He would lift His left hand halfway up, then lowered it, and then He did the same with His right hand. I asked the person beside me what Jesus was doing. The man replied, "Jesus is showing us what He's prepared for us in eternity." Then I was back here on earth. I thought I had died or was going to die soon. But that was 36 years ago.

I'm an RN. I've been caring for the dying in their homes for more than two decades. I pray for my patients and beg God's assistance before I go to work. Recently I cared for a man who was a life long atheist. He asked me if I believed in God and I said, "Yes. I'm a Catholic." One day when I had finished all the work I needed to do and he was sleeping I sat down to pray. He woke up and saw me and said, "I don't believe in that stuff." I answered, "Yes, but I do, and I love you. When I die I want to see you there when I get to heaven or I'll have to go looking for you." After that he began to ask me about faith, about Jesus and redemption. He converted and was baptized before he died. I loved that patient so much. People who have faith in Jesus don't fear death in the end. People who reject or hate God die with the most horrifying look on their faces. If you don't believe in Jesus work in hospice, watch people die. You'll rethink your position.

The Lord in His mercy allowed me to spend the last two weeks with him after not seeing him for 6 years due to physical distance. Years ago I’d tried to share the gospel with him and he completely shut me down. I often told him I was praying for him and in fact my last text to him the day I flew home said “I pray for you every day.” His wife is antagonistically atheist and will not have those conversations with me. My hope lies in that I know God is a good Father and that He loved my brother more than I did and I pray He showed my brother whatever he needed to accept Jesus before he passed. I won’t know until I get to heaven but I just pray my life and our prior conversations were used by God to soften his heart at the end.

I was at my mother's bedside while she was dying. She had been out for a few days, and then in the middle of the night as I sat and watched over her, she sat up quickly, ( Just as you described with your relative) and she screamed, " I am on fire! I am on Fire! Please put it out!" It startled and scared me. I tried to calm her, and finally she just went back to being unconscious again. At that time, I was not born again. Gratefully, God saved me about seven years later by showing me the truth, and giving me His Holy Spirit, for which I am forever humbled and grateful. Hell is real.

@arsondarksea not really cause it's the truth right? Her mom was an unbeliever and went to Hell for eternity. But if she had been saved while her mom was still alive, she could have witnessed to her mom and if her mom accepted Jesus could have saved her. There are many people of different religions or people who never really knew God who go to Hell out of sheer ignorance. Meanwhile I hear of santanists who God decided to give a vision of Hell and got saved after that experience. Its really unfair if you think about it that not everyone gets that second chance. They are just left to their own devices and burn for it.

I cared for my father in law in his final days. He was on hospice. I would often just sit next to him to just be there for him. So he knew he wasn’t alone. For several days he was so very restless and straining. He was very weak yet when he appeared to be sleeping he’d sit straight up and waving his arms like he was fighting something off and he’d yell, get away. No! His eyes would be open and he was looking at something I couldn’t see. A couple days before he passed, he told me he didn’t want to be a hypocrite and ask God to save him since he lived his life without God. I was very young and didn’t have a lot of biblical knowledge, but I held his hand and told him that I don’t think it’s when you go to God, but that you do. I didn’t know what else to say to him. I sincerely feel he found peace with God because he stopped fighting those unseen demons and a few days later he passed seemingly peacefully. I sure hope he did receive Gods grace.

@isaacjohnson615 so a person who cannot speak has no hope? Jesus can't forgive someone in a coma if they confess in their heart?
@Bithia65Ай бұрын
@@isaacjohnson615 Hey Isaac...The spirit of man is awake and aware even if the soul and body are asleep. God can speak to someone at the moment of death before the "silver cord is broken". In Jesus name is not a formula. Especially when you are speaking to Jesus himself. My son took his life - but just 4 hours before unaware, Jesus had me hand my son to him and lay him at the foot of the cross. He'd given his life to Jesus as a teen, but walked away. I believe God gave him grace and he gives many people grace who have never heard of him, for I have only ever heard - He's with me - and that was confirmed to me as I asked x 3 times. I have been reading stories of Muslims who have died and their spirit has left their body and had an experience with Jesus Christ - knowing his overwhelming love. Returned and gone on to become Christians and speak of Jesus to others. One was at a church ready to do Jihad, but got shot and in the mayhem ran, but collapsed. Jesus met him and his testimony is amazing. God has used him mightily since then. I did not get to do the sinners prayer with two I have known, but I believe God accepted them in their own simple way. One was unconscious but squeezed our hand, the other had dementia, but was aware enough to choose in the dark hours of the night. We must be careful not to need "Christian speak" or formulas when speaking of Jesus and coming to know him. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the words, sometimes it is very simple. Like Tami - her statement was absolutely what he needed to hear - "I don’t think it’s when you go to God, but that you do." In her innocent newbie Christian state - she got it right. She planted the seed and God could then speak to him.

My brother in law has cancer and, unfortunately, the opportunity to continue chemo has passed due to recurrent infections. Both him and my sister don't believe in 'that sort of thing' and they've raised their young son without any religious teaching (even though they were both married in a church and had their son christened in a church). My nephew actually laughed at me when I told him I believed in God, I was 'silly to believe in something that's not real'. I am in a quandry, as much as I want to offer some words of comfort, I know that any talk of God will be, sadly, rudely rejected. All I can really do is pray for them and hope that as things progress, they start to question death and the 'afterlife' and ultimately reach out for the Lord at the end.

One day I put water on it to soften the dirt so I could use the dirt in another pot. The bone-dry, pale brown, flat on the dirt, dead plant was standing straight up within a few hours. I didn't pursue taking care of it but I'll never forget what a little water did for a months-long dead plant.

It’s not until they yell for Jesus, who they knew was the Messiah during life. Jesus reaches down and pulls them out to either experience heaven and its glory, or hear God tell them they need to go back, because it was not their time yet. Many have seen relatives, their aborted babies, and their pets, who can communicate with them. I believe God is letting us see what we must do, BEFORE our appointed time. Many of these NDE’s were accidental deaths, before their appointed time. Thank you for this! May God bless you. 🕊

If for any reason you think this yourself, know that is not the word of God, it is the Devil speaking into your mind. There is a reason we say Jesus is mighty to save! There is no soul beyond His reach and He delights to forgive even those who spent their whole life in wickedness and only recognize they were wrong at the end. If you are breathing, have a pulse, are able to read this, you can pray the sinner's prayer right now, and no matter what you have done, Jesus will forgive you. And as a Christian, we don't even care what you did, none of it will matter the moment we all stand before God. The only thing that will distinguish us in the age to come is whether we placed our trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins.

@@kathyr.8135 I have always disliked bullies and stood up against them when I saw them mistreating others. When my daughter became a teacher, she told me that kids become bullies because they have been mistreated by parents or someone. Now when I see bullies, I know they are acting out due to the hurt they feel. It has helped me dislike them less. We all have issues, we all have sinned. In one way, those of us who have sinned the most - can become the ones who are the most grateful for being forgiven. We can experience the depths of God's mercy and grace when we accept His forgiveness. We have to believe He will forgive us as He said He would. I believe the Bible. We are forgiven!! Now we just have to work on getting this knowledge from our heads to our hearts. We can trust God!!!

God saved the Apostle Paul, and Paul called himself, "Chief among sinners". Yes, God can and will save anyone who calls out to Him for Salvation. 2 Peter 3:9-"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance".

My uncle was a Jehovah's Witness and would get angry when anyone would try to share the true Gospel with him. It saddens me that he died without accepting Christ. I know that he made that choice, but it still hurts knowing where he will spend eternity. I will continue to share the Good News of our Savior. Thank you for all you do.

If I am not mistaken, Jehovas witnesses do not believe that Jesus is the son of God. They think he is just a really important prophet.

@@noone-dv1jo um, TheHolsomback said: "as sad as i am about that i do not blame God"....does NOT sound as if he had no sympathy for his friends at all from reading that comment of his. He said "It's sad" or "i'm sad about it". That does not show lack of sympathy at all.

I heard a very similar story from a Christian sister of mine who had a friend that had an unsaved relative and was unwilling to accept Jesus. As he died he was frail but called out “I’m on fire!”

I don’t know where your grandmother ended up, but someone who is very loving is a good sign. After all, loving other people is all about what God wants and is what heaven is all about. Again, I don’t know where your grandmother ended up, but God willing she made it to heaven. 🙏🙏🙏
