haha totally agree I used to hate buying it for this reason but then I realised; you can tear off the garlic bits till you're left with the base then you take the base, spread it with tomato paste and cheese the chuck it in the airfryer and BOOM garlicy mini pizza!

Hahaha! ..... but it makes perfect, cozy lil boats for the butter & garlic to infuse with the bread more fully... but yeeeaaah,,,, I definitely slice, lay flat, & put the garlic herb butter on top when I bake it.

Agreed! Do it or don‘t do it. Just decide on one and commit to it! and do it properly. 3/4 cuts are not enough to easily break the crust with your fingers to tear the bread, but enough so the bread breaks in uncontrolled places when transported, so… Also annoying af… whenever I ordered Pizza or Garlic Bread here in my hometown in Germany, the pre-cutting was so atrociously asymmetric and inconsistent that it drove me absolutely bonkers. And I’m not talking about factory pre-cut but actually cut by hand, because let’s face it - no machine can cut in wavy lines or in 4 to 6 different increments on one length of bread or pizza. How are you supposed to eat half and leave half for later if there are no halfs? Or how are you supposed to share in equal parts if there are none? 😡😤

It's generally because of the way they make them (a slice of garlic butter in each cut during the bake), but it's a pain to eat 😅

I suspect the bread length is cut in that fashion, before the butter and garlic are added, after which it becomes “garlic bread”. I have tried to imagine making “garlic bread” without needing points of access, but i can’t. 🥖 😊

I don't like having dirty hands either so the idea of getting garlic butter on me is daunting

I've never bought garlic bread, wouldn't know.

There was a place that I used to order pizza from that NEVER cut the pizza properly. The slices never came apart. I’m not going to lie I did have a meltdown about it because things were just piling up on me that day. I don’t order that pizza anymore because it was good when it opened but they decided to use sausage crumbles instead of slices and its not good anymore.

I eat garlic bread with at least 5 meals a week, but I only buy garlic bread slices, so I can have as many as I fancy at will.

I get angry about stuff like this all the time.. its not just garlic bread.. It's other things that get under my skin because its only half done..

I’ve never internalised how garlic bread makes me feel when I break a piece off and it’s all uneven. I should really just cut it next time.

Haha i apologise for my initial reply.... i didn’t think it through. You were asking “why are they only cut 3/4”, not “why do they sell them cut at all” I feel REALLY stupid but eh. Life has done worse... 😂😅
