When Trump came down the escalator to announce his candidacy I’d already made up my mind I was going to vote for Ted Cruz in the primary. My first thought about Trump that day was “There’s no way in hell this guy will get the republican nomination”. I still voted for Ted Cruz in the primary but by then I was thinking, “If Trump does get the nomination I think he’ll probably be a good president if he really does what he’s promising in his campaign”. Elastic R, That police officer/military is/was one of ours. We have one of the best departments in GA. They are always polite, ready to meet our needs, and fair. We are 1/2 white and 1/2 black county, so please don't judge all law officers by your feelings. Being a vet myself the benefits are not bad and gave me the best education to lift me out of poverty. The democrats are the ones that did every thing they could to destroy our military by handing out pink slips to lower rank officers while they were fighting for us over in the gulf, cutting off funds to the VA, letting our military equipment go to hell because no money for parts, overwhelming the government workers with paperwork requirements, and so on.

I hope you're right. I wouldn't want you to have to try to explain supporting a President who conspired with a foreign government to undermine legitimate elections in our country. If he's completely innocent? Great, then we need to make sure it's got safeguards. Blockchain elections need to happen. That would make it possible to vote from home and have each vote be more secure than a banking transaction, with full paper trail and real time verification. More people vote from home, less money to run the polling locations, and voter fraud and intimidation would be non-existent or more difficult to accomplish.
