Absolutely not. In short, they'll make you "walk" to get to "game modes" you want to play in, artificially extending game time. ie. Want to play Rush? Walk to Rush Arena... (or ride your DLC Scooter) want to customize your character? Walk to the store. All the while, EA will create partnerships with clothing brands, shoe companies etc to integrate with the game. They will also probably fill the open world with targeted ads. Maybe even add more useless filler to a paid and/or free Season Pass. I could be cynical, but 2k made the model so don't be surprised if EA took it further.

Broken game.. go to the store it crashes.. laggy menus.. and now it won’t let me replace expired loan Bellingham with anyone it just kicks me off servers. That’s fc25 over already for me.

Not to sound like a shill, but I do think stats should matter with the game behavior/mechanics. If someone doesn't have high dribbling, their left stick should be bad. I feel like the left stick and right stick movement in 25 is slightly better but obviously with this game's inconsistent gameplay, its a flip of the coin on how any mechanic will behavior since we don't have consistent gameplay. Open world sounds like the neighborhood from NBA2K. I can see Rush becoming for FC what the Park is in 2K. Instead of a menu, everyone just walk up to a circle and wait for others to do the same. If they are copying 2K, this could also be the future of a single player career mode. Since Mycareer is tied into the neighborhood in 2K.

EA did me a solid by upping the rivals requirements. No way im doing the upgraded rewards. I played rivals first time yesterday in div 8. Won 1 - lost 6 or 7. So that's no fun for me. I'll stick with sb and rush for the time being. 🎉

EA took everything we hated in FC 24 (auto press, OP defensive AI, bad finishing) and made it 3 times worse. Why did everyone complain about the 360 no look lobbed through balls??? That was the best way to beat the auto press and now it’s gone. This game comes down to who gets more Jam and rebounds
