Wow, what a ride re-living these moments. Thank you so much for sharing with an open heart. Loved it, even with ups and downs, that’s what makes it all so real. PS I loved dancing with my Lil Princess as well, even though I have 2 left feet. Love always, Dad.

Katie,y heart goes out to you during this rough time. Hearing you talk about you grandfather has me in tears, because I'm now remembering my paternal grandfather, who was the only grandfather I knew growing up.

What a difficult series of events. 😖 I'm so sorry to hear about Henry's death. Losing a beloved dog is incredibly painful. They are true friends and the purest love. I'm glad he was such a positive light in your life while he was here. Wishing you the best in this time of grief and also recovering from covid. 🫂💓

Sending you lots of hugs. Sounds like it was a difficult, but good trip. I've had COVID. The hardest part of recovering is the exhaustion even after a month. Take it easy and only do videos when you're feeling up to it. We can wait. Dogs are the best therapists and know what you need without you telling them and it's hard when you lose that support. He's still there for you though. Get lots of rest both for your mental health and your physical. ❤️

Oh, Katey I’m so so sorry to hear about your beautiful friend, Henry. It’s so hard to release our animal companions, but it does get to a point where we know it’s time. We had to release our chocolate lab, Rusty in March and I’m still grieving and probably will be for quite some time. I’ve found Rose to be a wonderful heart healing herb. Rose petal tea and I also have a beautiful rose petal elixir….. there is a homeopathic remedy Ignatia that is really good for grief. It doesn’t mask or suppress the grief it just helps you process. Sending you big hugs of love….. Dogs are so loyal and loving and compassionate. They are just amazing. In another similar happening…. We traveled in April to visit my in laws in Barbados and the person we stayed with tested positive for Covid while we were staying with them!!!! We’ve both had three tests since…. All negative. But I guess that’s the risk we take when we travel. Sigh….. brave new world. What a beautiful time with your grandfather. You will cherish that time together always. Wishing you wellness and recovery. Be well. 💗💗💗

Oh Katey I'm so sorry for your loss and the hard times! Sending you lots of love and strength - hope you recover soon! Btw - I love Brandon Sanderson too, but I noticed the best way for me to read his books is not reading them but listening to them as audio books... Thank you for sharing your memories with us ❤

Henry sounds like such a great friend. I know how powerful the love of a canine is. My heart is with you. I featured Wild Offerings in my 6 Underrated Decks video. It's a very soft deck. Oh no! What a month. So sorry about your grandfather. Im struck with how strangely meaningful this month was.

T.S. Eliot said April is the cruelest month and in this case, I guess he knew what he was talking about! You poor thing with this all hitting at once, but it sounds like it did provide some moments of deep connection with your father and grandfather. We lost our 17 year old cat in April and losing a friend that's so kind and gentle just sucks, doesn't it? Thanks for mustering the energy to share your likes and stories with us all--and I hope you feel better!
