Some of those advice givers are simply narcissists. And they hate it when you set boundaries with them too. I had to set boundaries with my godmother. She is a really sweet person and claimed it all was from a place of caring about me and she said that God told her to tell me all the things she says. But unfortunately my bio mom, brother and brother’s wife are all angry at me for setting boundaries with my godmother and said I’m a rude person. Ok. That’s your opinion of me and I have a very different opinion of myself.

Suggest you read the Pooh stories - they are delightful. And the Teh of Piglet gives Hoff’s critique of the way that the world has been heading - and things are significantly worst since he wrote the book.

In "The Pictorial Key to the Tarot," Waite provides both upright and reversed meanings for each card. This indicates that he believed reversed cards could offer additional layers of meaning and nuance to a reading. Do we not need to follow his view since today’s the tarot cards are mostly based on his deck?

I agree that Te of Piglet is a step down from the Tao of Pooh. Thank you for putting words to my disappointment - he does take a negative approach to the world in this book. However, i think you may have missed his underlying premise of "feminism". He is a Taoist and as such subscribes to Yin/Yang dualism. The ancient undertones of this dichotomy would definitely highlight a "need" for male & female pronouns as an example. I am not sure Hoff was a sexist but he definitely was a dualist. Perhaps he could have addressed things more diplomatically, but i truly believe his views on feminism arise from the Yin/Yang viewpoint. Thanks for the review. The book is okay but is just too negative for me

Katey I so appreciate your perspective. 2 of swords is one of the reasons I ordered this deck today. I have had a hard time understanding it really. And this card's picture has bridged the gap for me. It is a feeling that is hard to put into words. I have no interest in Osho and would never be interested in a deck like this. However whoever this artist is these images reach me on a very soul level. I am looking forward to working with it.

In my long experience, the upright cards contain all of the necessary negative or counter meanings, and they present these concepts much more clearly visually and intuitively than any reversed decoding/interpretation.

100% agree. I found it easier to read with reversals at first, but now after several years find it completely unnecessary.

I always go through a new deck with the guidebook so that I know the general theme and what the creator wanted to express. I might even take a few notes of unusual things that jump out at me. After that I'll let the cards speak to my intuition, unless I get completely stumped and I might refer to the guidebook to get me back on track.

Hi, i totally agree with you. Thanks for bringing it up. It takes alot of nerve ( not in a good way) to use this in a tarot deck about some one else. That person could have done this talking about herself. She had no right to do this. Shes at fault. Thanks for bringing it up. I respect you.

Such a great video! I'm off to do this excersise right now, I mean, I feel it is so profound and I think I can get very real insights from it. When I feel depressed, it is so easy to think that It just happened out of nowhere and that I'm always going to feel that way, but by examining what may have let me here and what changes can I make to change the possible near future, uff this changes everything! so glad you shared this here and so grateful I found this video (and video series)! I really do feel it came to me at the right time. Thank you Thank you Thank you 😃💙

Yes yes yes to diversity, i am so upset when people call their decks diverse when they have 10 ppl who are not white straight men. The Unfolding Path Tarot has a really great representation of different people (race, skin tone, gender identity, sexual orientation, hair styles etc) in it.

I hope more people start to see this overtime because it's a very good video on the matter. And I actually want to add that this is not only an issue with *unsolicited* advice, but starting to become an issue with *solicited* advice as well. Minus the not asking for it part, obviously. But lately all the exact same issues mentioned here for all the exact same reasons mentioned for unsolicited advice I'm starting to see with solicited advice as well. And the second somebody kindly explains why they've already tried that and it didn't work or why it won't work for the circumstance, said advice give her always gets pissy that said person either didn't want the advice, or if they did ask for the advice they get pissy that it won't work for them. Well what can you do? Not everybody's life is going to be like yours. Everybody's in a different situation. In the situation may be more complicated than nuanced than just one simple solution that just works for you.

Thank you for this walkthrough of a lovely tarot deck that I just stumbled upn this morning with your video popping up. Though symbolism feels very intriguing to me, I tend to get easily overwhelmed with too many details and symbols and very lengthy interpretations on any given tarot deck as a rookie 😏So, a deck that can be used more intuitively as you describe it, might be helpful for me at this stage. The related book is nowadays available as a very affordable kindle edition, too (2,99 EUR) 💖Elizabeth's interpretation on the Fool alone is highly informative and already links to its meaning in relation to the tree of life. Very interesting, indeed. Thanks again for sharing your much treasured deck with us here 🤗 P.S. I absolutely loved your interpretation of The Lovers and The Devil next to each other or in juxtaposition. Absolutely striking, beautiful ❤‍🔥It seems to depict the eternal struggle or the balance 'needed' between the feminine and the masculine. And, you just provided me with a new to me and bedazzling meaning of The Lover's card that showed up several times in my own readings over the last couple of weeks 😁Awesome description / interpretation of the 9 of Disks, too 👍Thank you so much for this 💗🙏
