I've always loved the stereotypes in Punch-Out - there's something about the way they handle it where it all feels so light-hearted and not in the slightest hateful. It's just fun and celebrating how different our cultures are. Okay maybe Vodka Drunkenski is a little bit on the nose, but still.

I always read Doc's toupee line as him joking with Mac that he suspects Don's bald. Maybe because Doc knows Don is super vain, he's trying to find some flaw in his perfect appearance so Mac can expose it to enrage him... It's kinda funny, when you put it like that it feels like Mac and Doc are now the ones using cheap tricks because their opponent outsmarted them; when normally it's the roles are swapped with it usually being the opponent who's trying to find some underhanded tactic to use against Mac.

Those two women do look similar, but I'm assuming they're different people. The eyes and hair are ever so slightly different enough for me to firmly state such and then assuredly denounce anyone who says otherwise :p Still, Don Flamenco is another great character in a cast of great characters. Much like with Von Kaiser, he doesn't need any new tricks or schemes to get his revenge on Mac - he just needs to work harder. Unlike Kaiser who needed to remember his former glory, Don instead sets the theatrics aside and puts even more effort into his training. He was skilled before, but it wasn't enough for Mac so he puts in the work and stays true to his fighting style. It amplifies his strengths, but his weaknesses (the infinite and losing his toupee) still persist. This was another great video from you, it's always a good time when the love that this game got gets more attention.

Im not spanish, im mexican but haha i speak Spanish, and when I played this game for the first time as a kid, i loved the fact that all characters talk in their original languages, and I freaked up when i saw Don Flamenco and realize... I CAN UBDERSTAMD HIM, it was so epic for me, cuz, i was used to hear Mario say: "Here we go" or "Lets a go" and I only freaked out when i heard him say: "Fantástico :D" in mario sports mix, but, don flamenco, oomg... hear him say "Bravooo" or "¿Que pasa? ¿Quieres mas?", freaked me out 😭😭 I knew he has an spanish accent, but it was so epic hear a videogame character talk in spanish, and he was my favorite 😭😭😭 (as a teenager i started to learn english)
