AN ER TRIP & SNOW STORM!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say this is filmed a week ago & I am MUCH better now! The fever scared us & caused pain, but we actually learned the reason for the fever the next day - my doc called when he said he got the results & he had seen something. He took me off one of the medicines I was on, which was causing an issue. Ever since then, I have been good & have been fever FREE since that day! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Glad to hear from your above comment that you are feeling much better. Continue to take it easy and rest. I know the mess drives you crazy but you will slowly get it done and back to where you like it. I had shoulder surgery 3 months ago and I have still not been given the go ahead to lift more than a pound. It is going to take me months to get my house back together between Christmas and my Mardi Gras ball we just had on Saturday. My Christmas tree is still up. Boxes of Christmas decor and ball decorations are exploding everywhere. On top of everything I broke my toe last week so that is slowing me down. But, slowly getting things packed up and put away and then I can really deep clean my house. The snow is so pretty. None for us living on the gulf coast of Alabama. Loved watching the kids and ferry having a ball outside. And Layla “reading” is so precious.

Omg!! Give yourself some grace!!! Don’t stress over messes. Give each kid a task to help pick up… one kid picks up all dishes, another one picks up markers, etc. it will get done. Just allow yourself to recover and kids enjoy the snow!!

Hi Tiffany, I'm so sorry to hear you're not recovering well from the surgery, but also glad they released you to go home and all tests and scans came back OK. I see Gerry's trip to purchase a snow plow for his four-wheeler was not in vain. It was so endearing to see Everleigh take Layla's hand on the deck to help her maneuver through all the snow. I love your children and how they help each other out when needed.

So much better! The fever went away that evening & my doc called the next day to tell me of something he found in the CT. We changed my medicine and I have been SO MUCH better since! Unfortunately one of the medicines they had me on was causing issues. Stopped it and have been fine ever since! 👏🏼

@ I always have issues with meds am allergic to lots of antibiotics and steroids . Glad you are better ❤️

It was the antibiotic I was on! It was making me so sick too. Ever since stopped taking it (that day) I feel like a new person.

I'm so glad you are feeling better! I was reading another comment and you mentioned antibiotic funny because, I went to the dr for some GI issues and theres a chance the antiobiotic I take off and on for a urinary tract infection could be causing the issue in my intestines. I was told to keep a journal until May to see if it happens around the time I take antibiotics, if I need them. I try not to take medicine, but I am prone to urinary tract infections, so I feel like I take antibiotics a few times a year, and that's when Im noticing these symptoms. Who knew antibiotics could cause so many issues!

Yes, the antibiotic wreaked havoc on my body. It was making me sooooo miserable and even causing the fever. It was awful. I always try to stay away from them unless absolutely needed, because I don’t do well on them at all.

@allthingshomeyt so glad your better. I dont do well on them either. They suspect the one might have been causing my GI symptoms and I also get rashes etc. I try to do without if possible too! Glad your on the mend!
