I'm currently on the search about an ergo mouse and this review really came in hand. I'm currently between the dav3 hyperspeed and the xlite v3, but this one is a serious runner up. Another option would be the vaxee np01s but that one I have no idea if I would like the shape.

The NP01S is an interesting shape since it's somewhere between an ambi and ergo mouse. I'd say leave that as a last resort since you can't buy it from Amazon and return it if you don't like it. I have the wired version from many years ago and it was an nice mouse, but if you're in the market for an ergo and looking for a true ergo shape, the np01s won't fill that void for you.

@@AlexReviewsMice To be fair, even I don't know what I'm looking out for. I have an xm1r and I wanted something more comfortable and lighter, so I got the r1 pro max which is lighter but not as comfortable as I was expecting, so I'm considering something more lean like the op1 or an ergo like the ec2. I did try the ec2 and it was pretty good, but I did for only 8 minutes which is not near enough time. That said, I do have an g403, but the cable is too stiff and it's too heavy for me to even consider using, though shape wise it's very good though it could be smaller.

if you like the EC shape you can try the pulsar xlite v3 but their QC is a little iffy sometimes

I have both the np-01 and the outset ax and prefer the outset. for me (an ergo enjoyer) the np-01 shape is a bit strange as the mouse sits farther back in my palm where the outset is higher up in my hand where my fingers meet the top of my palm which i find gives me better control overall. this ogm pro seems interesting at this price point but it's hard for me to justify buying it right now. i have a lamzu thorn that I also love but those optical switches feel too squishy for me and my xtrfy m4 is a mouse I used for years but the shape now feels foreign to me since using the outset ax. I think making a decision comes down to how you hold the mouse and what feels most comfortable for you. Do you like the fell of the mouse more in the palm? Toward the back of your hand? More height or more taper toward the back?

@@HeyImBrim I think I kinda like the filling in my palm, but I also like when there's more support on my knuckles. That said, I got the dav3 hyperspeed and it should arrive by the end of the month. I'll release some notes on the mouse as soon as I get my hands on it.

darmoshark n5 is exactly the same shape if you want something cheaper

Darmoshark has been known to have iffy quality and not the best support. Sure it might be cheaper, but hows the user experience afterward? It's a question lots of people overlook.
