I absolutely love this. I just love that you love EQ so much. This game is so important, and I feel like it doesn't get the attention it deserves.. Also, the novelization of Willow? I gotta get me some of dat.

Aww I love this! I was 12 when I started playing EQ in 2000 and I was such a nooooooob. My mom was complaining to my pediatrician about me spending too much time on it and he asked what server I played because he played too. xD So many fun memories over the years. I still get so nostalgic. It really is a game you never stop loving, and cutting our teeth on it as kids was just an amazing gaming experience.

Great game that made up my childhood. It's one of those unique experiences that no one has even come close to replicating. I tried picking it up again a few years ago and the magic just isn't there anymore. My palette has been tainted with modern garbage. I'm hoping Pantheon: Rise of The Fallen will be a good rehabilitation center.
@odin66675 жыл бұрын
xKAIIRUx Pantheon might be a great game but I honestly don’t think the feeling and community that Everquest created back in the day can ever be replicated again. The world is just a different place and everyone is afraid to communicate and wants everything so easy.

As a long-time Dungeons & Dragons fan I'm outraged! First, the "frogmen" and the "spider dark elves" are classic monsters that appeared in D&D monster manuals waaay back in the seventies (and were called bullywugs and driders). Second, we don't talk about the D&D movie, just like about Matrix 2 and 3. It doesn't exist, okay? Neither the sequels... Love your videos, keep up the good work!

Michael I really love your videos, glad I saw another one pop up lately, I was just sitting looking at my "EQ Classesless server" game window (I'm also running two characters on "The Prime Healer" a Titanium emulated server. I just had a tremendous idea which would for my self be a huge undertaking, I'm not really interested in persuing at the moment. Have you ever heard about Project M? I think it your the guy for the job... Here's what I remember about Project M, it was in the early 2000's, the devs basically added a button on the character screen that let you log on as a random Monster Player Character. These were all low level monsters scattered around the world. You could basically be spawned at random as any monster in a low level or starting area. I was around at the time and some of the stuff I spawned as was a spider in North Ro and also was a Lizardman Mystic in Rathe Mountains once. I promptly headed to the giant camp area where I befriended an ogre shaman. Even though I couldn't communicate with the shaman I could still heal him with my small healing spells. You were able to fight NPC's or other Monsters, you could gain experience and level up however I never survived long enough to experience leveling up a monster. Thanks for the fun videos, home my info about Project M is useful for you.
