Its exceptionally beautiful, very crisp and clean. The scales and texturing are very nice and grippy, total opposite of the base version. Oh and so nice and lightweight. Sandpolished blade is also perfect, so yea pretty happy with this choice, wasnt sure at first looking at pictures on the website (thought it was a bit plain) but yea it is a serious upgrade now that I have it in hand. Cant wait to take it out with me for some outdoor time, button lockup is super solid (I mean it was on the base version but this one feels even more dialed in). Happy shopper indeed lol 👌

@Archetype_EDC even stronger lock up? Because for some reason my Bowie pyrite was stronger than the other button locks. And are you gonna throw at stuff lol?

@@workingknives yea It feels more secure, may just be in my head but I found that both models had an particularly well designed button lock. I may do that if im in the mood hahah, but I really need to get myself some actual throwing knives. Theres a few market places here that sell replica ones from famous brands so I might just pick some of those up and use them instead of throwing folders 😂

@@workingknives Yea ill just get some simple ones that are all metal, can keep them in a little pouch they come in and bring them to some places outdoors with me. Just get the cheapest possible ones if you do, all it needs is to have a sharp-ish tip. I just had a look and there are tons of them all over Amazon. If I get some you will see them make an appearance sometime in the future lol. Going to splatter some coconuts lol

i actually bought the S90V one with the steel handle because it was so much cheaper, the BHQ exclusive in all black (even though the weight isn't really where i want it to be).

@@AndrewStafford1 at 6.3oz how does it feel? The radial pattern on it is nice but damn that’s entering some heavy territory. Granted it’s a really good price for S90V. I would take the blade out and put it straight into one of my lightweight wooden ones. Wish they would have used titanium without massive liners on the inside as well, the pattern is cool but I don’t think I would ever carry it due to the weight

@Archetype_EDC it's just the bowie pyrite I think it comes in at 3.8oz. They also do the Prado in S90v and steel and that one is 6.3 ounces I think. I wanted that one but I can't do 6.3 ounces for an edc as you say it's just too heavy. I cut off at around 5 ounces. The only heavier edc I have is the ZT-0562 5.3 ounces in titanium and magnacut

@@AndrewStafford1 Oh my bad, I didnt know there was a BHQ exclusive bowie pyrite, just assumed it was the Prado. But yea damn S90V for 90usd is pretty sweet, and you can also enjoy that patterning on it as well. And likewise, I have started to go a tiny bit heavier lately (my preference is still lightweight knives) but I tend not to go over 4.5oz, also because I dont wear jeans out here so I feel the weight a lot more. Did you ever try out Trivisa knives? They make some pretty amazing button locks (have a look at their Aries model, huge sheepsfoot blade with a hollow grind and a button lock). Bringing them up to see what you think of them, got a pretty nice affiliate deal with them as well so you can get a 15% discount 😉

Hey, I dont live in the UK currently. I did buy this directly from CJRB though, and that clip is a Civivi flamed titanium one. If you want to get one of those, you can either find them on Amazon, or a few other edc sites that ship to Uk. cjrb.net/products/cjrb-bowie-pyrite-j1942t-cpm-s90v-blade-titanium-handle-folding-knives Let me know if you cant find somewhere that delivers the civivi clips (their website only ships within the US), I'll let you know a place where I used to buy them

I found a "knife store" thats selling the cjrb rose gold bowie thats 50 on amazon and selling it for 115 and calling it the eagle point

Scam central in the knife world nowadays. Not sure if you use instagram but there is a major bot problem on there as well. Anytime someone posts on a big knife page, they will get replies from fake accounts that say 'I have the knife in stock, dm me bro' Most of the time its on a knife that hasnt even been released yet lol, its a bit out of control
