Wow! I’ve seen a few videos on how a golf ball is made, but this one is just incredible! Iona has done it again-what a fantastic behind-the-scenes look at the best ball in golf. She managed to break through the very polite and corporate vibe of the Titleist team with her signature Scottish charm (and by cheekily swiping the divot repair tool 😜). It’s no wonder she’s so loved by everyone there! The Titleist ProV1 is definitely my ball of choice this season, and I’ll be keeping the Left Dash handy for those windy days. What a video - that was absolutely brilliant, the reflection at the end that golf is a game was just lovely, your an inspiration, keep it going. I've used Titleist balls for ages, just got a set of (albeit refurbished) Pro V 1 and they are lovely to hit, I haven't checked if there are any Pro V1 x in there but I will, with a handicap in the mid 20's sadly I don't get to keep my golf balls very long but I must do a wee bit of testing next time I'm out. Excellent content. Very informative. I like the sound of the golf ball as well. Much like the sound of a voice that is pleasant to the ears. It's interesting when you move from brand to brand like Titleist to Taylormade and compare Pro V1 to the TP5 and the X version, etc. That is another video perhaps. I play Pro V1 in the winter here in Scottsdale, AZ, and the Pro V1x in the hot summer. 🔥

I think Pro v1x would probably be the ball I would like too, just for the extra height you get but would definitely have to test them out to confirm that decision

I don't know about other companies, but Titliest seems like the people really love what they're doing. And this impression goes all the way back to the 80's for me. In 1988, I was in the Coast Guard. My ships home port was New Bedford. I had suggested to our moral officer that they should contact Titleist about getting some equipment, direct from the factory. We thought they were going to just give us a deal on clubs. Instead, they gave us two sets of brand new clubs, and a couple of dozen white box balls. Everyone in this video took me right back to that day we picked up the clubs.

What a fantastic honor for all the staff at Titleist. Great Video.informative and entertaining. I too am greatly effected by the feel of the ball. I prefer a softer feel when it comes to chipping putting. With putting I like a dull muted click and the feel of it almost bouncing off the face If you could have a ball that is high compression but feels like a low compression ball like a Callaway "Supersoft" I'd be filling my bag pockets full of those. I personally don't like the feel of ProV1s. I did play some illegal "MG seniors" recently which I liked but they are illegal because they come off the club face at too higher velocity

Brilliant insight and I was lucky enough a while ago to get a white box and send feedback. So prov v x is slightly higher flight interesting may have to change to pro v then as I use x and hit the ball high. Interesting about trying balls round the green etc. True comment Iona we do take them for granted and visit to test facility defo on the bucket list. Thanks again for the video and also to Titleist.

Awesome video iona... I love the white box thing! Years ago titleist used to sell x outs in white boxes. First gen provs. The sound difference between standard and x is so obvious. Great content as usual Iona. It was very interesting to see all that goes in to improving what is after all an iconic product, and market leader. I think Titleist are lucky, or probably shrewd, to have you as an ambassador, as not everyone could make ball construction and testing interesting. If I could be so bold to say, there seems to have been a massive improvement in your putting posture since you went to the Scotty Putting Barn, probably exactly what Brad Faxon wanted to see.
