THANK YOU FOR THIS! This is the best vlog of Salkantay I’ve ever seen. Love you guys’ energy. Your filming is insane- if you don’t mind sharing, what camera do you use & what do you use to achieve the beautiful filter?

Great video!! Keep creating, your content is amazing. Also, I’m wondering what cameras you used to make this video?

The first video I watched but definitely not the last! I used to go hiking and camping with my brother and sister when I was younger and this video reignited the feeling and is motivating me to go hiking again. It’s so awesome being with you guys in the journey even if it’s through the screen, you made it all look so easy. I love what you said in 35:37 and again in 38:47 about getting a lot when you ask, definitely a lesson worth carrying around. The finale with clips of each day is pure talent, all the editing, music placement, shots, and voiceovers makes it seem as though we were there with you on the journey. Great job, Roosters! 🐓 you made it! Special thanks to Serello/Serelyo (the tour guide) for all the guidance. Excited to see your next adventure!!

Thank you!! Feels like a 5 star review haha🙏🏼 and I love comments with a little backstory. Absolutely you should go hiking again, and I’m glad my video made it feel like you were alongside the journey, which is what I aim for with these vids!

Wow, what a video! It was so good that I watched it three times! Thank you for sharing your journey with this trek. I’m sure the views were even better in person, but you captured every single one really well, along with excellent storytelling. I appreciate the time and effort you put into editing this so we can see the beauty of places we don’t normally encounter. Your videos keep getting better and better! I can’t wait to see where you’ll go next!🤩

I did the Salkantay 5 day trek in June and it was worth every second. Even though that was actually winter in Peru, it was clear, sun y and warm (compared to Scotland). The trek was even better than the actual wonder of the world, the mountaintop citadel of Machu Picchu. Amazing experience, thanks Trexperience.

Really enjoyed this, and it made me more excited as my wife and I will be doing this trek in October. Can you tell me how much time you spent getting used to the climate before starting the trek? Do you live at sea level to begin? Any previous high-altitude trekking? Thank you!
@TristanKyrollos4 ай бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! So we spent 4 nights in Cusco to get used to the climate which helped a lot. I live in Toronto which is basically sea level so I'm not used to the high altitude. I'm definitely not an experienced hiker although I hiked Acatenango Volcano earlier this year (around 3600m) which I also made a video on if you want to watch. Hope that helps!
@allencameron4 ай бұрын
@@TristanKyrollos Very much so, and thanks! Yes, that's our plan, too. My wife and I live in the B.C. Interior, roughly 700 metres above sea level, so I'm hoping that helps a little, and do a lot of hikes well above that (Tour du Mont Blanc a couple years ago, for instance), but nothing like Salkantay! Will check out the volcano vid. Thanks again!

dude, the video stabilization is ruining your video
@TristanKyrollos4 ай бұрын
I knoww, it’s not even stabilization in post, it’s just the sensor wobble from the ibis. Unfortunately I couldn’t really stop much to get shots and just had to film while walking
