An Expert in his Field - Zhang Jue Caster - Complete Analysis!

In this complete analysis we're talking about an Expert of fields, Zhang Jue! This Taoist teacher, is our newest 3 star caster! While many units require fields for their kit to really pop off, Zhang is finally going to be the games first field-type support unit. He still manages to have an aoe quick np for offense and cleanse with crit damage in his kit though. We'll be covering his kit and loopability, how it stacks up to the competition, how he works on a mechanical level, how much damage he can dish out, CE options and more!

Again apologies for my butchery of the name, I hope it wasn't too annoying. Zhang is a really interesting unit with his field buffs. I really do hope that he gets an upgrade to either make them automatic or expand his coverage, but either way can still be useful in his current form. Whether as a support or low star wave clear, how do you guys see yourselves using the Taoist teacher? Thanks for watching as always! It was supposed to be Zhang "Jiao" as someone who played warriors games for almost a decade. I dunno why they decided to translate his name like that. Felt like another Artoria vs Altria situation to me...

I watched the whole video but don’t know if I missed it. If you didn’t mention it, his bond CE gets him to the 100% buff success chance he needs for that third skill. Not saying that’s the ideal CE for his supporting, but it’s worth mentioning

I do think it would be nice if they buffed his field skills to 100% chance, but they aren't going to do that since his bond ce gives 20% party buff success rate up

I'm just gonna call him ZJ. He might make for a good third slotter in my DIO team, just to help Ozy get started faster. I usually just run Marie in that slot for Jojo memes.

A little bit of pronounciation aid: anytime you see a Chinese name end in "-ang", it'll be like "-ong" in "long". As for "jue", yeah you got no hope. That sound straight up doesn't exist in English.
