The video shows some work I'm doing on my layout particularly on the tunnel part of the track. It also features some buildings that I have built from kits.

Great idea on making your mountains removable. There are a lot of great videos out there on weathering buildings, ( djtrains and Ron's Trains N Things) just to name a couple. Your rock formations look great and it looks like you have the beginning of a fine looking layout. Thanks for sharing. Dave

I appreciate the nice words and suggestions, Dave. I will definitely check out on those videos that you mentioned. The mountain scenery in your layout is one of my inspirations and is something that I wish I could have on mine. Thanks again.

Nice job on the tunnel portal. Looking forward to seeing the progress. I also like your fire station and gas station. I will have to check out some of the Faller structure kits for N scale. Thanks for sharing. Randy

Very nice work here my new friend. You’ve done a lot in a year. There are many you tube ideas on weathering. First thing you can try is a dulcoat or matte spray over the plastic kits to take some of that plastic sheen. If you’re goi g to spray in the dull finish you’ll want to mask off the windows first because it will ruin them. (Ask me how I know this) 😜🤣. Looks great. David

Awesome layout sir! What radius curves are you using??
@abcando14 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and the nice comment. I used 21-5/8" radius for the inner track and 24" for the outer one.

Wow. You’ve accomplished a lot In just one year. Your layout is looking real nice. Amazing how you keep everything looking so neat and your structure builds look awesome. It’s your railroad your building for your own enjoyment but I’m curious as to why your using all Europe kits? Again, thanks for the sub. I subscribed to you and will gladly follow along as you build your layout and will let others know about your channel. Anthony

Thanks so much for the compliments and the sub, Anthony! When I started building my model train layout, I got hooked on watching youtube videos for Faller car system and 1/87 scale RC trucks which are mostly from modelers in Germany and other European countries. I saw and liked those modern buildings from their videos that's why I started ordering and building them myself. Thanks again - Armando

What foam do you use . Can you put the link for buying it
@abcando13 жыл бұрын
I was using the pink foam normally used for wall insulation. I bought it from Home Depot. www.homedepot.com/p/Owens-Corning-FOAMULAR-250-2-in-x-48-in-x-8-ft-R-10-Scored-Squared-Edge-Insulation-Sheathing-52DD/202085962

Hi Armando, can you tell me how you attached the Unitrack to the base? How happy are you with the Unitrack performance overall? TY
@abcando1 Жыл бұрын
Hi, I actually did not attach the unitrack to the base but they are being held in place by the ballast that I glued on the sides of the tracks. Below is a video which shows how I glued the ballast which does a good job of keeping the tracks in place. I really like the Kato unitrack which has been very reliable in my experience so far. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6e4omOIeb-VjLs
