Truly shook by this conversation. I've been following your journey for years now and like many of yes theory fans, I've always felt or seen some kind of parallel in your lives and mine. A sense of discovering, allowing yourself to pursue your dreams, your friendships and projects, the end of college, your creative work... But this conversation resonated with me dearly. As a creator, even with the truly amazed feeling you get when you see yes theory video's, I always wondered what the other tip of the Iceberg. You can only imagine that your journey come with its challenges. Not in a negative way but in a very human, profound, normal way. I was surprised by the wiseness of your conversation, the unedited, unfiltered, rawness of it. I believe that challenges always comes to make ourselves "pause" and connect within ourselves. The three of you are mastering that process. You're right Matt, you can’t take people to where you haven’t gone. And you guys are getting very conscious and making your surroundings conscious too! Bravo

It is complicated and that’s why having your brand being worn around the world is amazing and you did that. And that’s creating friendships all around the world. I think you guys are missing the point you said out for. Obviously you’re having some internal struggles. But you guys need to believe that you would you have accomplished accomplished is so much more than anybody that I know. You’ve touched 1 million people by having them do things out of their fear factor. And you want people together and they love you for that and we love you for that.

Have you ever thought about an app like parship / tinder for your community? Where you may sign up with ur abilities, the things you‘re untested in, region, and the things you are wishing for in a friendship. So that these people may find eachother? So no dating app, a friendship app 😉

For real, everyone should go sign up for an improv class. It creates some of the best friendship because at its core it's all about communication, trust, and collaboration. Plus, if someone's seen you act that weird, you're bonded for life.

It's definitely not healthy to only see "happy" people/relationships on social media. Especially for people suffering from some forms of mental illnesses (even though we re making progress). It can create this false expectation of what one "should" have. But we re not perfect, no one is and no relationship is. It s very nice to see you being vulnerable and real. For me personally it's reassuring and it helps me accept my feelings of dissatisfaction as something normal especially when you the people I look up to share similar feelings. Even if our lives are completely different, I relate and it helps. So thank you for that. Peace and love

A very mature answer from Thomas on what drives you towards autonomy or loyalty. It's not necessarily about co-dependence, it's the cultures that we come from, and how they view the "burden" of support. The Global North north prioritizes independence far more than many other areas of the globe, whereas community care is a given in others. Recognizing that it's not about what's wrong and instead about what your norm is, is a huge help when having these conversations!

The fear of going forward and thinking about the hurt of growing apart is present. Growth and change is never easy but being committed to the transformation even if you end up not on the same level. Be aware that spirit is all around. You are doing something that is phenomenal. I think our basic tendency is waiting for failure. Not have expectations as to any outcome down the road is a cardinal rule. Not Understanding love f’ ‘ ‘ a lot of us up.

Oh my word! Before I start.. Magic.. Is what u guys have created and shown to the world! Growth was the reward for all the 'sentiments' you guys experienced.. Together! I really could go on but my point to u all is that.. Whatever it takes.. U 3 are Leaders already and this was accomplished with commitment through working and allowing each other to be themselves. Matt is doing what his gut is telling him to do.. And he should and I'm proud of that. We never know what other 'gut' feelings will surface for anyone else but again.. Live your lives.. And don't let Yes Theory fade away! U guys have made history.. And continue doing so. This podcast was so unique yet so profound. Matt is taking his 'leave' and he will make the best of it.. But I know the Co founders (all of u) have many more books to write together! In Sha Allah. God Bless💙💙💙💙

Every single overnight success always have that kind of mess coming with it. Whether it costs friendships, or collapse at its peak. The slower the progress is, the more people can think about it and differentiate between business and friendships, underline what is encouraged and what is not, and those conversations if done at early stages of success can save everything. That is unfortunately not understood if you are at the early age of 20s and everything you do provide with massive results. Yes, nothing go smoothly in life (that is the reality, whether we allow our minds to accept it or not), but if there is a win win solution brought to the end of it, I guess that is what truly matters. I have to add one thing - in life it is not about getting everything, but how you made people feel about you and that is the only thing you can reflect on when you are in your last years of your life.

Honestly, it seems like all three of you are on a different track right now. Like everyone of you shifted his focus on something different. Its like you are reflecting on the past and trying to "fix" it, without really connecting; almost like you three have different conversations and just add something here and there. There is no flow in the comversation. Maybe it is really time to realize your own versions of yestheory and focus on what you really want. Just from the business-perspective. The "fixing" of the friendships, in my opinion, takes time and honest conversations. I think sharing about it just makes it harder, even if its more transparent.
