Hey all,
Three days away from launch.
And what better way to run this final mile than with my best friend and brother, Ammar. Aka Habibs.
The man who has pushed me to grow more than anyone in my life.
The brother with whom I’ve had the lowest of lows and the highest of highs.
In this podcast we don’t hold back. We show you the hard parts of our relationship and we also share what we mean to each other.
There’s so much here. Per usual, I think you’ll love it.
Thanks for being here. Thanks for riding with me on this journey.
Next time we’ll be talking, the book will be out.
What a wild thought.
Love you so much,
Matt

Matt, if you read this, I just wanted to say congratulations. As we near the release of your book, I can't help but think about how far you've come from the beginning. I was one of the listeners when you started doing voice notes a while back. I remember during one of them you mentioned how you had to start all over on the book again. While you didn't do the voice notes for long, I want you to know they were a huge inspiration for me, YOU were/are a HUGE inspiration for me. I had always wanted to write and publish a book and hearing your stories about your struggles, etc. reminded me that I wasn't alone. It taught me that if I really put my mind to it, I could achieve it. Thanks to you, I've wrote and published my own book called Discomfort: The Key to Your Best Life. Tomorrow, I find myself back in my hometown for one of the town's biggest festivals and I'll be selling autographed copies of it. It just absolutely blows my mind! So thank you and again, congratulations on successfully writing and publishing your book! I can't wait to read it! ❤

@@AhhhSukeSuke Thank you! ❤️🙂 Getting to read reviews and hear people say it's changed their lives in some way has definitely been one of the best accomplishments of my life. I can't wait for Matt to hear the same as I'm sure his book will be inspirational and probably share several amazing life lessons!

You guys made me into who I am today. I was so shy, so anxious and so scared of the world before. My 14 yr old self would not believe how far I've come, and a large part of it is thanks to Yes Theory. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You all deserve the best possible life, whatever that may look like.

This is srsly relationship goals. Lol but rly...having someone push you, be there for you, love you despite your demons, and reciprocate just as equally. I know our culture focuses a lot on romantic relationships, but this is such a meaningful and beautiful friendship.

this fills all of my heart with warm fuzzy feelings. Ammar and Matt being SO vulnerable while still being respectful about their current journey on such a public level is not an easy thing to do. Their love is so pure, you can feel it through the screen haha

I think Matt really needs to feel valued. Not so much by others but by himself first. And to feel this way, he has to go his own way, build something from scratch outside of Yes Theory, and be proud of it. But that path will have to be a resilient one so good luck!

I got my boss for secret Santa this year. I just bought another copy of your book for his present. This podcast showed me it would be a perfect gift. I told him about the buried life and gave him my copy of their book earlier this year. I’ve mentioned yes theory to him. But I think the book will be a better introduction. I’m excited for the book to come out! I know it’s going to be great. Thank you for being you!

Amar and Matt, you do have that kind of brotherhood! It’s rare and precious! Can’t wait to receive my preordered book! Wish you all the happiness possible Matt on your new adventures ❤

Great conversation! It kind of amazes me that more people don't watch these podcasts. I recently described them to a friend as pure gold. I don't doubt that the thousands who do are way more engaged with them than the average YT viewer. Indeed, it may be the most rewarding or meaningful thing they watch that week. (Am really looking forward to the Colin and Samir one!)

As a girl from Wisconsin who moved to Oklahoma at age 14, I had the privilege through my school, to do a cultural exchange progam.... my partner and her family were amazing while I lived in Cheng Du and honestly that experience made me understand.... all people are human .. no matter circumstances and I'll be forever grateful that Irene was so kind while she was in the US. I lived in a single mom home, and her grandparent's were famous engineers, her moms a doctor, and her dad is a PhD... and i was their daughter during my time there...if you have a chance in your life to experience something new or challenging please do. It's soo worth it you will be happily surprised by what you learn❤

I just wanna say: thanks for doing this. I think you should know how much you guys have helped in the struggles people have in this day and age. Many of the things you share can be reflected upon ones own experiences and friendships. So hearing these things from such inspiring people like you is truly heartwarming. I'm not even sure if you guys realise how much impact you make. Not even necissarily through the Yes Theory 'brand', but through yourselves as human beings. I've orderdered three books, of which two I will gift to two of my best friends, whom with I share a very similar friendship like you guys do in my opinion. I haven't even read the book yet, but I wanna finish with one last note: you have been so inspiring and made me think of life and goals from such a different perspective. It feels like guys give that last gentle push in actually following your gut, seek discomfort, pursuing ones dreams. You actually change peoples lives. Thanks so much for that.

I don't know how many times have I said this in other comments across multiple platforms. But since the first time I watched your videos 5 years ago, one thing stood out the most for me. And it's not about how awesome the things that you do and how positively you've influenced your audience and following based, but it is your deep connection - your bond - to one another. There's not a word I can think of that can describe it, but I can feel it. Even when you don't say a word but just looking at each other, it's projected even in your videos. You can feel it. The kind of friendshihp, relationship, that only comes once in a lifetime if we ever get so lucky. I certainly dream to have one. What a blessing you have. Love you guys. Hope to get to meet you one day - all three of you 💙 Congratulations on the book, looking forward for my copy to arrive 🤍

I don't know if it's because I'm half Taiwanese, or because I studied abroad in China for four months, but I guess I did not realize the extent of Americans' fear or China. I mean obviously we don't get along in politics, but I had never realized how scary it was for Yes Theory to go there. They talk about it the same way they talk about their Syria or Afghanistan videos. 😅😂
