Yesterday I had this realization from the Lord; my marriage is a testimony to others not my own life alone= our relationship is an image of Christ and the church. We were both lost individuals (even had a toxic relationship together before we became Christians) and now saved by the grace of God. God who began the good work is working in our hearts until the end. So while I submit to my husband; I am glorifying my savior. Women are smart people who were created to be helpers and while we help our Husbands lead; they lead to serve our family in a godly way. I now no longer have trouble with submission and have received peace and wisdom on how to speak with respect to my husband when I disagree but the truth is with God being our main focus; we don’t have much to disagree on. ❤

Before another power outage happens, make sure you have a few weeks of non-perishable/non-refrigerated food and water stored up. You could get a portable camp stove (Gas One) that runs on a propane container with the adapter, make sure the BTU measurement is correct for that portable stove...and do it outside to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning. Have flashlights, I would also get a shortwave radio and/or a scanner radio to stay informed. Have ways to stay warm or cool without relying on the AC/house heat. And always have a second location to go to in case you ever have to leave your home.

Except he isn’t there by invitation, he’s there trying to separate you. That’s why you MUST invite God and keep God where he should be in your marriage. And remember that your spouse is not your enemy.
