Power outages in the Canaries islands aswell. Great information as usual. El Corte Ingles is one of my favourite shops, never overly busy except at Christmas and lovely air conditioning to keep cool. Thanks Alex.

Coming to Palma Nova next year first week in April as my body will not cope with big heat, plus its first time there and only second time abroad since 2001. Really looking forward to this.

Just returned from Port De Soller, it's absolutely beautiful and wasn't to busy. All the locals were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Hotel Eden soller which was wonderful. We enjoyed the tram to Soller, and a boat trip to Torrent De Lluc. Will definitely return 😄

Only got 10 more days to wait until back on island for a visit to Camp de Mar once more

Ok back again for a month. It is v hot. In peak season we just stay on our beach which is the best in our opinion and very safe. In the SW area of Calvia and have to say have found the roads pretty quiet- even during rush hour picking our son up from the airport. Airport very effucuent. Our beach is a locals beach. A good size, not too busy even now, ery clean, sandy, crystal water and no Sun beds. I would say 80% people on our beach are local Mallorcan families. I can honestly say they are very friendly, lovely, warm, welcoming and respectful as they always have been. Not felt any hostility anywhere. Was at a big music event Sunday run by local people- could not have taken care of us any better.

Hi Alex we wanted to ask you about a holiday in palma about the end of may next year,and in your view the best areas? we were in cal a dor but found it very small, and quite and all beach coves which were nice,but very busy. we love beach fronts like the one in this video,and we like walking around ,and exploring . I would say try any of the bigger resorts - puerto Pollensa, palmanova, cala bona - with long walks and plenty of beaches and cafes !

Hi Alex. Electric outages were common in mallorca in the 80s. Got stuck in the lift at hotel teix on more than one occasion. 38c huh. Bet the water parks are busy. Makes me want to go to the private beach in cala alcudia. Btw, ive heard in the press its going to snow in August. ❄❄😂

Would it be possible for you to do a video on public transport, busses etc and or links to websites best used. I've heard about prepaid tickets in other countries that save money, like a weekly oyster card type thing I think. First time holiday in 17 years, 4 children to transport.

Hi Alex. Did you ever watch the (daytime) TV series The Mallorca Files? It was on BBC for two series a few years ago. Lightweight crime show in a modern ‘Dempsey & Makepeace’ style with an English detective and a German detective teaming up to work for the Mallorca police. Solving various crimes across the island. Well Amazon Prime has commissioned series 3 and it’s out next week!

Why not do a vlog about the latest Ryanair baggage policy? Perhaps focus on the carry on luggage, both the one that you pay for and the free under-the-seat luggage. Tricks on how to pack for a few days with the severely restricted under the seat bag will be greatly appreciated.

Just come back from Palma and Soller. Clips on my channel soon :) I wish to tell it is safe, people are friendly and antitourist protest are maybe happend but you dont feel that on streets. Everyone are nice and friendly and everyone sholud come on Mallorca. I was also on Ibiza and it was nice there too, you dont feel antitourist opinion. I was also use bus across Mallorca and never feel anti tourist hostility. So dont worry about protests. I also want to tell thanks to channel owner because i find lots of useful information here before my trip

If Mallorca can not cope with Air Con. then how will it cope if and possibly most cars are electric? Electric cars are being pushed more and more now needing more and more electric, and where will the electric come from. Just ask MacMaster what owning an EV is really like.
