I honestly been struggling with temptation too. I used to fall into lustful spells with guys i met. I’m so proud of myself because i recently declined a guy’s “offer” and that’s when i knew God changed my mindet so I can be more valuable. The old me would’ve accepted that offer soo quick annd I’m honestly still fighting it. I still go hang out and have fun but now I can’t bring myself to have relations with a non valuable man anymore. But it shows that the devil knows ur weaknesses.

Bro the instagram thing is so true. In the bible God tells us to RUN from temptation. I had to realize that I couldn't be putting myself in the position where ima see something on Instagram or youtube and slip up. Because if you know you know. The devil will try and take a hold of you in an INSTANT. he will make you think "oh its ok, its just one time" or " its not that bad". In moments like these the best thing to so is PRAY. Lol, I smiled, laughed, nodded my head and everything throughout this video. I relate to almost everything you said for sure, specially about that dating part. Sometimes I don't feel like kicking it either, and that's just being honest. It just has to be the right one, and I'll know when that time comes. People try to pursue me, but I just be chilling. I just always ask God to not let me miss out on my husband because of just how hard I'm trying to stay focused on him, my life's work, and where I'm trying to go. I'm trying to change the world too, materfact I will hands down, and with where God is taking us - his people, we can't afford any distractions unless he confirms it is otherwise. I know he'll give me the heads up at the right time and it’ll be better than anything I could’ve expected in a relationship. I'm glad you're doing what you love though, at the end of the day it's divine purpose, and God already showed you that he's planted you. I know that YOU know you are where you're supposed to be. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 is beautiful because it really emphasis that just because something comes to an end it doesn’t mean we have quit, there’s a time and a season for everything in life. It doesn’t matter if you have permanently stopped playing basketball or if God has led you on a long break and will have you return to it in a different way especially with your story - that doesn’t make you a quitter that makes you someone who trusts the plans God has for you. You’re not a quitter, just like the Israelites you moved when God’s cloud moved, people change careers all the time. Your life is greater than basketball and so is your God given mission. Secondly, self awareness is the best thing to overcome temptation after relying on the Holy Spirit of course. Lastly, listen marriage and etc is a lifetime commit meant to represent the relationship between Christ and the church, it’s a choice you need to make VERY sober because it will impact the course of your life and the mission God has given you so don’t ever lose this mindset that you have, when God presents a suitable woman for you you WILL know. So keep doing you and we are excited to see the direction of this chanel and potentially a life talk’s podcast…🤔 Also I think a lot of men would benefit of you discussing how you handle temptation and what you have learnt on your journey so if God permits that will be a very impactful video :)

Phil I'm so grateful for you frfr I honestly feel like you were god sent to me especially in a dark time of need. Words can't explain how my whole mood and way of thinking just drastically change every time I watch one of your videos. At times I have really bad anxiety and I'm constantly in my head drowning in my thoughts, but listening to you talk about your struggles, how you overcome them, and your whole spiritual journey with god always puts me at ease.
