I'm glad someone mentioned this. I don't understand how something can be released and within the second it's a classical. Doesn't classic include a time frame? As in something in the distant past. Anyhow, I've been a very huge Griselda fan since 2017, but it's always bothered me that they mentioned what items are going to be classicals upon release. A classical test time and a few seconds upon release doesn't signify a classic. It's odd.

First off the "classic" is DEAD. There are no "classics" in this era cause if there is name em? I'll wait... This is the era where literally 100 plus albums come out a year from artists with established positions in the mainstream and another 100 come out underground so albums have a 24 hour period to a week to make impact and then they're gone. Lost in the ocean of streams, reviews, reactions, releases, and short attention spans. What we have now are the remnants of classics when we actually waited 2 years minimum before we even had the discussion of it being classic because the culture was largely at the mercy of major label releases. Now with the internet you'll have one person saying yo Tyler just dropped a classic, Westside dropped a classic, Killer Mike, Drake, Blu, Lupe, Snoop, Currency, Masta Ace, T.i, AB Soul, Busta Rhymes etc just dropped a classic and each one of these are a different demo with different opinions that will not all agree that any of these are classic across the board. Those days are gone. Imo a "classic" now is did your album meet the sound expectations of your particular fanbase and style and did it last for a week smh because those albums that lasted whole decades in the minds of the masses like The Blueprint, Aquemini, Chronic 2001, No Way Out, GRODT are gone post 2012. That being said I can see your point though lol.

Thanks for this. Westside joints and, Benny doesn't have shit to say different. Majority of the beatz are wack too. Also the tempo is too damn slow. How do all the wack niggas get popular. Conway sounds like an artist since day one. Daringer is not that good.at all. Easy production. Drumless tracks throughout whole albums is boring and lackluster. 😂

WSG suffers from Rick Ross syndrome. Mediocre bars over great production.
