Just got me a G48. I upgraded from the G43. Love how thin it is and easy to iwb carry. I’m 6’2” so I added a Hogue rubber grip and now it fills my hand very nice. Great shooter for sure.

That is a wonderful testimonial to the ease of use of the GLOCK Pistol having your saintly mother shoot it. Enjoyed that immensely sir. Now, I have question: I heard you say that you are in Texas yet your accent don't match and you are wearing a Yankee Penn State hat. Are you a transplant I suppose, and if so, what made you move to the Lone Star State? I ain't being critical, as you can see I'm from Tennessee and remember that Texas and Tennessee are ALWAYS on the same side!

I was born in Lubbock Texas, about sixty miles from where I live now. I’ve lived in Texas my whole life though different parts which probably affected my accent. If you’re unfamiliar with texas, people in different parts of this state can sound quite different to the trained ear. As for the Penn State hat, I wear it because I attend college there online. When I decided to go back to college I needed to find one that had an online degree, offered my major and wouldn’t break the bank and Penn state was the best match. I agree Texas and Tennessee have always been on the same side. Some of our best known heroes like Sam Houston or Davie Crockett hailed from there.
