@vaahtobileet3 жыл бұрын
it's kind of a weird opinion because he himself makes a living by being a short dude on film. He's not exactly hired mainly for his acting ability. It's not much different from the "freak show".

@@vaahtobileet you can see in Warwick's personality that he believes he is a true actor, he also has the ego of one. Karl mentions him being hired for his size a few times and he always looks shocked, offended and disagrees with it

Thank you bro for appreciating this comical genius. Most Americans don’t understand the humour. You my sir are a rare breed and you laugh is so infectious it’s makes watching so much more fun
@Fyrecide3 жыл бұрын
What are you basing that on, exactly? Because every American I've seen reacting to him, either online or in person with American friends, absolutely gets it and loves it. Or are you just just generalizing, doing that elitist "British humour is better than American humour" bullshit that so many people love to do to make themselves feel superior?

The whole point of the series is to make things more unpalatable for Karl. In production meetings they would have identified all the things that make him uncomfortable, they sent him to those places, and the director was definitely briefed about all of it. Annoy Karl as much as possible. Imagine a show in which one of the biggest small-minded moaners sits in a first class sleeper cabin all the way from Moscow to Vladivostok. Just an orange looking out the window, eating Revels and complaining about his boiler.
@JeM1301774 жыл бұрын
Damn Karl was getting pretty rude to Warwick at the end there 😅 he wanted him to validate him and really went off when he didn't 😂. You'll have 100% seen Warwick Davies in things. He's Professor Flitwick in Harry Potter..and Griphook the Goblin. Fun guy! I watch a day time game show he presents here in the UK quite a lot 😂 He did an episode of Extras with Ricky and Daniel Radcliffe if i remember. That's a pretty funny show too if you get round to it. Bit cringey but still.

My two brothers visited Russia in 1997 - they're tech heads and total nerds who wanted to see the rockets in Star City and all that stuff - and they told me with VIDEO EVIDENCE (they filmed everything) that Russians were totally lacking in enthusiasm for anything at all, miserable, easily annoyed and totally bossy - exactly like that taxi guy. Their landlady (who they were paying in lots of hard currency - US dollars - remember) kept giving them some kind of cabbage soup as their evening meal and it was horrible so they didn't eat it, which she took very personally. "What is wrong with soup! You eat soup!" So they ended-up spending most of their evenings, and a hell of a lot of roubles, in McDonalds eating cheeseburgers and avoiding her. Star City was very cool, though, according to them. They wore space suits, walked through a space station and were taken on a flight in a MiG 29!! I wish I'd gone with them now.
