Send a couple of spies to the remaining Imperial planets in the North, if there are no defensive fleets combine the Mandator and Anaxes fleet to crush the last remaining Imp forces. When they are defeated separate the fleets again one going northward and the other going to Alderaan and Chandrilla. To speed up the capture of the core world bring the army at Dathomir to the core and have it follow the second fleet around. Build some New Republic locals at Mon Mothmas location to allow you to build mines. Build support ships to bolster your fleets. Some of the comments have been saying you can get new tanks at Umabara, not sure if you need a light, med, or heavy facility but it is something worth looking into. Lastly you haven't built a barracks at Dathomir.

Our clans remain the same as they were then, my ancestor's legacy must be reclaimed and the only way to reunite Mandalore is with the sufficient power of what your adviser has offered. What you offer." He placed a firm emphasis on the last part of his speech as he gazed into the eyes of the admiral. "So you wish to find allies in the Empire then? Allies that will bring your clan back into prominence and into the eyes of Mandalorians throughout the galaxy as Mandalore? Is that what you wish?" Everin spoke, a bit of harshness in his tone as he walked closer to the Mandalorian. "I seek the title of Mandalore, and if I must tear through the unworthy to reach it then so be it. This New Republic and the Black Sun that hold my world are usurpers." Cassus spoke in anger, "The helm of Mandalore is mine to hold. I am to be Mandalore and my clan will rise again, if you can aid us then I swear that the soldiers of Mandalore and the clansmen of Clan Ordo will be at your service." The adviser glanced at the Admiral as Everin approached, "You swear loyalty to me then, very good." He pat the armored Mandalorian on the shoulder, "Cassus of Clan Ordo, I will aid you in securing your place as Mandalore, and you will aid me in securing the galaxy as a whole." He smirked, "And we shall bring peace where there was once chaos." The Mandalorian nodded, "Yes, of course." Cassus did not know what to say, though the excitement in his eyes of what was to come gave away most of what he was thinking. "Adviser, prepare a shuttle for him." Everin spoke with a fresh breath, "And ensure he returns to Mandalore unharmed, we must have our allies intact." "Of course, my lord." The Dark Side Adviser spoke, bowing his head as he led Cassus away from the private quarters of Admiral Shel. *Alone once more, Admiral Everin Shel approached the holographic projector in his chambers and leaned against it for but a moment. He placed his hand on the button to activate it and the image of Carida appeared before him, a space station in orbit. The loyal Imperial stood close to the projection as he watched a timer tick on and on. The squabbling of Mandalorians for power over their world mattered little to him, they were a means to an end and he had a task of his own to handle. Soon he would return to Carida and take Valor Station out of the hands of the Black Sun, an orbital throne for the new empire that was being reforged. Yes...yes he quite liked that, the Reforged Empire. Everin moved his hand through the hologram, the image of Carida shriveled for a moment before fading as the projector was shut down. Soon he would return to Carida, soon Mandalore would fall in line, soon the Reforged Empire would take control. It was only a matter of time.* (Different from normal? Yes. Lore character connections? Yes. Hopefully you readers at home don't mind that I used Clan Ordo, I didn't really want to come up with a new clan and even then I think it's a pretty cool call back. Until next episode, friends! Oh he's for sure seen the Uglies, I remember seeing a Space Engineers video where he and some folks were trying out some of their mods after an update and some Absolute Legend had brought an ugly, X-wing superstructure with TIE wings if I remember correctly. Shack, a *HEAVY ARMOUR* tip for ya; cycle between the heavy laser default fire and the rockets every few seconds. It takes roughly eight to ten seconds to reload the rockets, which in the meantime you can swap back to the default laser fire and then back to maximise firepower

The Black Sun fleet over Manaan retreated because they knew they were outclassed. You came on too strong too fast. When you start out with a few units, they won't be scared away. The New Republic star destroyer that you may be thinking of is called the Nebula-class.

[Nice to know but not really relevant INTEL] The reason why your starfighters never manage to destroy anything before it retreats into hyperspace is because in EAW when you give an attack move order, all your ships return into a formation and move at the speed of the slowest vessel. Including your fighters and bombers that end up abandoning the retreating ships to get to the main slow fleet. You could fix that by telling only the fighters to attack move. Yes, I find that annoying too. Fun fact. Also, bombers, depending on the size of a ship, sometimes have too long strafing runs, where they'll hit a target and turn to shoot at it again long after they have reloaded. It is especially noticeable against an SSD, where the y-wings would fly to the other end of the map before starting their attack run again. This means that, technically, if one would micro manage the movement of bombers like one has to with air transports, they could get a big improvement in their performance against the big ships.

@@Shipprofile08 I remember that in my new republic game I tested out the nebula alone against 2 ISDs... it took em down and its shields were not taken down... they were almost there, but the bost to shields ability did the job Also, it has crazy good firepower... if you ask me, once you become the new republic the best option is to turn the Nebula/Defender into your main capital ship (obviously with a support fleet)

Love the massive Imperial counterattack. Pleased you found the Sun's number on fighter vs fighter. I guess hold back your capital ships to keep them from running. Also, the upgraded Carriers for the Empire have the Assault Gunboat. It does look a bit like a Lamda shuttle. It is basically in between a Ywing and Bwing. Lots of Gunboat missions in Tie Fighter. My favorite was calling in for reinforcements, and the Gunboats would talk smack when they were your reinforcements. Of course this is confusing now since Rebels had "gunboats" for carrying troops on patrols and raids in the show on Lothal.

Hello! I've been a fan of yours for awhile and I just recently subbed and I wanted to say to keep up the good work! Although I noticed something while watching this series. Don't underestimate ships just because they don't look nice, The K-Wing and E-Wing are FANTASTIC fighters and bombers, and the Defender Destroyer is a good ship WITH support, and that's for any capital ship, never send one without support, especially agaisnt a high level space station with a defending fleet. Anyways, sorry for the little tangent but I just felt that you're kind of just discounting a lot of good ships just because they were handled poorly or aren't apealing to look at. Looking forward to the next episode!

Hey Shack, watching your newest Episode to keep me entertained in Hospital so thank you for making time go by much faster! I pretty sure that youre infantry during the battle of Manaan healed every now and then because lorewise Manaan is the main Production Planet of Kolto which is used for Medpacks etc. And i think as long as you hold the planet in Vanilla your infantry gets a healing bonus while defending it. This mechanic probably carried over to AOTR Edit: Just continued watching and saw then you mentioned it yourself, so yeah in Vanilla its the Planets Bonus, in AOTR theres just no Hint to it

SHACK!!! If you do CNTRL + Right Click with units selected it does the attack move so you don’t have to click on the icon Edit: AI usually runs when the players capital ship outguns the AIs capital ship. The game also takes into account a supporting fleet. Fighters aren’t usually counted unless they come from a ship or are brought out of hyperspace. The game doesn’t take fighters into account if the AI just flat out starts with them which is what happened around halfway through the video

I don’t know why it was making the sound though because usually it’s a quiet process you don’t usually notice. But that’s why they were healing.

Shack, The AI would have stuck to fight but as soon as you pulled in the Mon Cal ship the AI saw the battle as Untenable. Meaning their program makes them retreat Regardless of how easily their fighters could have mulched you.

Shack the way you used the Nebula-class Star Destroyer (I think that is its name) was to send it against a fleet to face tank the entirety of their firepower alone. That is what destroyed it. I personally think you overestimated the capabilities of the ship (I would class it as a ship that has around 30% to 50% more ability than a Imperial II star destroyer).

Shack, the new republic - like the Rebels - are NOT made for capital ship fighting, it is almost all hit and run with correlian gunboats, fighters, and possibly cruisers. The only Capital ships worth anything is the Correlian battlecruiser, ISD, Home one, Rebel one, and maybe the MC80

Fleet Commander Shack, I do recommend at least from a tactical perspective that you begin a new Assualt Company. Another group like Twilight to Divide and Conquer so you don't have to bounce Twilight back and forth.
