Yup and did you know that if they accept the offer and then they don’t have funds in the bank your item remains on sale to others until they pay it

Ye I knew that but it doesn’t always happen. Different circumstances seem to present different options for buyers. It’s a good thing that your item stays on sale though where possible.

I saw this too about the offers for 96 hours. I just plan to still send the offers 1 day before going on holiday and if not purchased before I set up time away just end the listings that have offers I've sent out on them. And then sell similar to these ended listings when I get back. Obviously it uses your listings allowance for the month but as you are away your allowance for the month won't likely be used as much anyway. Just a work around really.

Ye it’s defo a work around. When doing this I do find that the filter to find listings with “outstanding offers” can be a little unreliable. But good tip.

Less time pressure and sense of urgency for the buyer would also likely reduce sales. See Cialdini's principle of scarcity.

Possibly, but I’ve also found doing 3 day flash markdown sales infinitely more successful than much longer sale periods.

Ebay should have a system where that we decide how long the offer is valid for when we send it out. We should be able to choose whether we want to offer it for 1 day up to a week when we send out the offer. Would solve all problems.

Yep totally agree it should be in our control. Even having to option to have 1 hour would be great if you have a few people receiving the offer.

Nice you got all that stock for free! I also think they have changed something else when it comes to offers too. I have the option of "require buyer to have a saved payment method before making an offer" to stop non payers. Recently I've accepted offers and no payments were made, this happened at least 5 times last week and previously it was working fine! Now I've turned off offers completely across my whole store

That company is terrible. Send you wrong stock then even the freebies are wrong. A lot of those are not bands or even music items. Good job they were free. The condition of some of those was a bit disgusting as well.

I thought the free bale was pretty good tbh. They been cleaned and most look great, sometimes the bale process ends up making them look worse.

Not everything goes for that price, but they either get the items for free, pence or are working on commission deals.

Love your videos, but that company you got the free bale from, if that happened to anyone else as in not a KZbinr you wouldn’t have heard back from them. Totally makes them even worse, panicked that they got caught out by a KZbinr. Totally over the top bale with loads of band sweatshirts, guarantee anyone else buying from that company would never get one that good.

They did not know I was a KZbinr. I didn’t tell them and just ordered as a new customer. There was no promo for them and when I ordered I had no intention of making a video.

Oh your at the wholesale rabbit hole again, why bother with it all now, in regards to ebay they decided to update the messaging system of all things, like that even needed being fixed and guess what ....they've totally broke it and nearly lost me a sale this morning of £100 !!! because we cannot message each other to arrange collection

Dont think I saw any comms from ebay about the 96 hours either. Generally though, I don't send offers for 5 days before anyway if I know I am going away. Between ebay not telling us of changes, the new EU 'safety' ruling in December and who knows what will happen with selling to the States now, it may be choppy waters ahead in 2025.
