Lampard is able to get the best out of the young players and the rest of the team collectively. I think the problem with Chelsea is consistency because in certain games it seems like results do not go in their favour.

@Liverpool FC the greatest club in the world. nah. In 5 years i expect an EPL throphy and cup throphy also leave a new golden generation for next coach to take over. For rebuilidng processes & getting youth into A team Lamps is the man for the job. In all honesty and i think both of them will Lamps & Arteta would be lucky to win half of What Mourinho & Pep have which would make a very solid career.

Their defence has actually been decent, we have one of the least expected goals against, and bar Liverpool, Chelsea have conceded the least shots, it’s just kepa has been shambolic and has the worst shot/save ratio, and the quality of shots we’ve faced have also been poor.

Defo believe the goals conceded issues down to Kepa having a very bad season as shown by his xG with chelsea having conceded a number of goals more than expected. Also we don’t concede many high quality chances xG has us as the 4th best defensive team and 3rd best attacking team. Also with the introduction of reece James this has massively helped us in terms of defensive transitions because he’s a recovery monster and plays inverted to give the back 4 protection and central compactness to defend transitions when we don’t have the ball like Arteta does with AMN and Kimmich at Bayern. We’re not a bad defensive team at all not great but not bad. Lampard is really resembling pochettino as a coach.

As an LFC fan, I can't help but admire Lampards Chelsea. They play good football, he's using the youth players, who have been notoriously shunned at the club for a decade or more, and the fact they are fourth after a transfer ban is excellent. Chelsea has had a "plastic" mercenary, feel for some time. This seems to have changed, and Lampard's attitude can only be good for the club, and football in general. For all of the defensive struggles, once sorted, they'll likely be genuine challengers again.

Your analysis is brilliant. Lampards use of young players instead of the old legs Sarri preferred is because his tactics require more sprints per player per game. Both for 3rd man runs and the high press. Very similar to Klopps methods requiring young legs. Stats don’t lie and the improvement in the teams numbers proves how inferior ‘Sarri ball’ was. Frank is a good manager and he his game management this season has been very good.What we miss is a very good dribbler with good creativity.Someone like Hazard,who can pull out a moment of brilliance to break down opposition low block defenses.Also,we need a better ball playing defender and Reece James to replace Azpi as our right back.We just need 3 good signings(a centre back,a midfielder and a winger like Sancho) and patience cause we have a new youth team and in 1-2 years we will be title contenders again.Just remember how much time did it took to Klop to make Liverpool like they are today and how sloppy his team was at the start.

Sarri can use 4-3-1-2 / 4-2-3-1 also... In Juve he does. At Chelsea he didnt have too 433 suited us and we came to 2 finals duhhh. But agreed Lampard being slightly more versatile knowing 3 at the back too which Sarri never uses if i remember.

Good video. But now Reece and Azpi are our fullbacks and we rely on Reece's great deliveries from right flank. Also Kepa is a major reason why concede so many goals, he is an average keeper.We are shit at defending set pieces too. There is also a lack of creativity from Leftback and Midfield areas too.

Some of the main problems is Jorginho is not as good at tackling, so we are susceptible to counters. Also sometimes our press isn’t effective because our defensive line is so deep

You still don't understand that it's the tactics that's putting more load on the CDM. We should have a 235 offensively since our fullbacks push high up. When the 8's move high it leaves us in a 217 offensively and can easily be countered. Jorg Kante Kova with Kante in CDM should sit back to create 3 in the midfield to cover for the fullbacks who attack high. Check Liverpool and Man city tactics, they always have a 235 offensively..

The problem is Jorge and kova pivot is not working concededing so many goals against poor poor teams and they don’t score enough goals from open play Chelsea since mourinho most conceded and least scored from those 2 which suggests they are not good enough kante cdm and Reuben central midfield would be a better balanced midfield and can form a pivotal midfield with Reuben goal scoring potential higher and better at height for set pieces and physical stronger and equally as good as both of those players with dribbling and passing
