fortunately Malenia is an optional boss. now when I first played Elden Ring, I did ZERO research on any of the bosses or areas. in other words, I went into the Malenia fight entirely blind, not expecting the healing per hit, the waterfowl dance, her moves during phase 2 and having to deal with scarlet rot on top of that. EVENTUALLY I managed to beat her before going at it again another two times in later playthroughs just so I can try to dual her sword and use scarlet aeonia, which is the name for her scarlet rot flower attack.

To add a bit of context, that little thing at the end was a teaser referencing the soon to release DLC. Sounds like he's planning on including a DLC related video next before/to wrap the series of elden ring videos up.
