Amazing show Steph!! An animation or video of how the doc fixes this injury would be outstanding..and perhaps discuss how things are reconnected via man made or cadaver ligament through the use screws, pins, and/or sutures to the would give the fan a glimpse into the seriousness of the injury/recovery. Alex is the boss and Anthony is going to be in pain and not 100%’for awhile. I am living with a Grade 3 AC joint separation and elected not to have surgery. Yes, you can see the clavicle bone up 1/2” higher than my other shoulder. Downside is that I can’t do a lot of strength training and my golf game has suffered and losing distance. Go Anthony..wish you luck here and thanks for the show!

9:00 minute mark Alex and Stephania left us with a cliffhanger. What happened when Alex's shoulder snapped on that long go ball? Did he play that year? What was the snap?

No kidding wth happened?

Stephanie’s reporting has been vital to every successful FF season I’ve had, glad she’s got her own show. And as a fellow 49ers fan, shout out to Alex Smith. They never should’ve let him go & he proved it when he went to KC.

Hopefully Richardson comes back stronger than ever and learns how to protect himself going forward. If he continually gets hurt or doesn't regain his former self Indy truly has had horrible luck at QB since Luck retired.

Hes gonna keep getting hurt just like all the other running qbs in the nfl. Your getting hit by 250 pound linebackers and 300 pound dline over and over again trying to run for yards. If they run to much they always get hurt. It has a pocket qb that runs once in awhile. Jalen Hurts can get away with it hes not trying to run for 1000 yards every year or josh allen. But these guys trying to run with the football always get hurt. RG3, Trey Lance, Anthony Richardson and Lamar Jackson. Its nice to run for 1000 yards as rb but they take to much of a beating.

I did learn that there are 6 grades of this particular injury. Is this a 4 or 5? 3 or less they don't do surgery. Also i see people crashing to the turf every week. They don't get injured like this. We may have an injury prone Qb. If he wants to be a Rb he won't last.

Richardson had the same injury in high school without surgery this time if it continued without surgery he would’ve grew a big lump on his shoulder like Keenan allen has now. Since Keenan is a receiver it doesn’t impact him but since richardson is a QB it would’ve impacted his throwing. Cam got injured in 2016 on his throwing shoulder and let it go untreated until 2 years later he decided to get surgery on it and it was too late and it had a negative impact on his career.

Stephanie thanks for this - great work! Is this the type of injury more likely to occur on concrete based turf fields? Hopefully Irsay gets a hybrid field in time for camp! #GRR nerf the turf!
@ericdutil3478 Жыл бұрын
They don't ever play on the Lucas Oil field until the pre-season. Training camp is at Anderson University outdoors on grass. So a little extra time to get something done.

Any impact injury is likely to occur more on turf than grass.
