Coleman Performance Systems could be the case but I think it’s more likely that they’re just tired and when you’re tired doing sled drills it’s way easier to tighten your base up. The linemen are probably more used to it so they can go longer with better form.

You could have amazing credentials, PhD, publish..and you won't get hired because they head S&C is going to hire Johnny that interned for him when he was the assistant S&C at the collegiate level. I've seen guys that didn't even have a S&C background, they weren't a CSCS, nothing. But they were hired on at a D1 program because they played ball at the program a few years ago.

You need to work on technique. They do both.

They're power athletes, they need to produce the most amount of force possible in the shortest amount of time- your trainer is probably focusing you on more bodybuilding or powerlifting type of stuff. For a field athlete their goal is not to be break down muscle to make it grow, its to produce maximum force in a game. Being able to lift a ton of weight is useless for them if they cant do it fast.
