I’m pretty sure the M7 would even sound even better more capacitors inside as well you should do a review of that in my opinion it’s everything this one is but even more especially the bass it’s better

What's your concern about mentioning price? I'd have thought providing an MSRP/RRP and/or 'street price' (at the time of review) would assist the viewer in determining where it's being positioned, a basis for comparison and feasibility for purchase. It's public info which one would otherwise likely have to search themselves - more info in one place (here) the better.

yup, as soon as he said that I immediately searched the price. Its 2300.00US ish. If what he says is true that sounds pretty good. I wonder how the sound compares to the FW J2 and Pass XA25 though when they can be had for 3000 ish used. Comparisons are very useful and I don't mean a D'ogostino! LOL

Would you assume the M7 would sound better since it has more capacitors and essentially a beefed up version but obviously it’s a power amp so there’s no volume control I’m assuming the M7 would sound better especially the frequency response seems to be different on paper when you look at the websites this universe is the M7 seems to be different I feel like the M7 has a wide range frequency so in theory he probably get a better transparency wider range of everything and since it’s a beefed up version I’m thinking there might be more meat on the bone with a full or more dynamic sound maybe I don’t know! Any thoughts?

I would say the EX-M1 was not intended to be used with the KEF or Klipsch speakers given its price point. From the US distributor's website and his related videos, Kinki's intention was for it to complete with more expensive integrated amplifiers. For example the US distributor was using it with his Magnepan 3.7i and compared against a $5K US built integrated.

Edward WISDOM KEEPER/SEEKER OF TRUTH I never heard the Kinki. I would imagine that is a good match for speakers that lack dynamics, that need a good fast amp. Like a Spendor or Harbeth, maybe Gershman. Those already have very rich forward mid range. Remember the kinki has a U shaped voicing, slight dip in the midrange. Btw, common opinions is that the Kinki is a Goldmund copy. I have no reason not to believe that is true.

Not answering gives the answer. It doesn't outright beat the Hegel. But he did comment at around 3:50 mark for about 20 seconds as to the nature of its' sound...sounds like what the Hegel does but maybe not as smooth sounding, a bit sharper, thinner, faster perhaps, so speaker dependent. It's likely a very fine, well engineered amp that you only need to add sources to, which I prefer although I own a Hegel and am quite happy with. When it comes to amps, as the song goes, love the one your with. Amp hopping doesn't really change things, although there are a few stinkers. Better to find the most perfect speaker you can afford/live with, a nice affordable dac, streamer and/or tt. At the price, under 3K, there are alot of choices of good sounding, reliable products. The Kinki may be one of them. What wouldn't I buy, I know I wouldn't buy Musical Fidelity. But there are alot I could live with. Alot.

Hi Newton R. In a well aired area the unit is lightly warm. It does not run extremely warm or hot, not even in summer temperature.

Hi , how does this amp compares with the Hegel H190? I saw your reviews on the Hegel H120 but it seems that you like more the Kinki. Don’t like about this one is that it is difficult or impossible to return if you don’t like it.

I have owned Hegel H190 few years ago. Recently I bought this Kinki integrated. Kinki has much better detail, way bigger soundstage. The bass is incredible.

@@goahead3995 that makes sense as its an all analog amp so all the money goes for the amp, Hegel h190 is still very good in my opinion and good with bass controll, i think you need to step up to h390 to have simular amp to kinki, and you save money with kinki, of you already using a seperate dac and streamer, whats great about hegels is that you get everything included in the amp,

I have the Cambridge CXA80 with my LS50's and it's a perfect pairing. Highly recommended if you like a lively sound with a huge sound stage and lots of power to spare.

Can you review of this unit another professional reviewer has mentioned in his review it’s a fantastic sounding unit however it’s already shut off and shut down on him a few times he doesn’t know why it’s causing that I think maybe it’s overheating or maybe he’s playing the volume too loud with very in efficient speakers but even still I would love to buy this unit and I listen to music to 6 to 8 hours a day and with various volumes sometimes I like to play it pretty damn loud and I don’t wanna worry about this thing shutting off on me. He mentioned maybe it could be the op amps or the 18a current output it only has maybe being the factor that it’s not big enough and only 18 might be the reason why it shuts off what’s your thoughts? Would you say this unit runs warm after a few hours of use are pretty damn hot thx 🙏

just ordered one .. this will be a blast together with my sacd player Marantz sa8005 + KEF R3 + handmade erotiq cables by cable guru (desirecable.com). Compared with upgraded Pearl lite soundwise worth 4000e, this just stood out like a big Boss, as mentioned... the scene was phenomenal and all the details were out of my mind. Never heard somethin like this before. This could be yur first audiophile (not hifi, not hi-end) AMP, tell yur mom. If this unit would be produced in EU, price would be somewhere between 6-8k Euro. Dont think about not buying this!! change yur foken Cambridges, ...its time. :)

This amplifier is "inspired" from Swiss Goldmund amplifiers, with some cheaper opamp implementation and lower price because it's made in China. The preamp in it has high gain which added to the already high gain of the power amp results in too much gain on the integrated amplifier (tweeters will probably hiss with efficient speakers). There are separate monoblock amplifiers also - I think those are a better buy than the integrated amplifier. PS: Search "queenway 29m" on google to find previous listing of the monoblocks on aliexpress. Personally I don't like it when people "borrow" intellectual property so I try to avoid this kind of product.

Replaced my trusty hegel h190 8 months ago with the kinki monoblocks and matching preamp stack, paid 6000 CAD all in, auditioned a ton of gear from 5 grand to 10 grand, the only SS i liked for my ears more was the top of the line luxman l-509 (a smidgen more tonal accuracy) and a pass labs xa25 and matching preamp/headphone amp (richer colors and textures) but these options were almost twice as expensive, and neither had the slam, bass control and sheer dynamic energy, which sometimes i need when listening to that kind of music. IP theft aside, kinkis stuff is very good and excellent value.

The point about gain is true, if your speakers are efficient you will hear tweeter hiss. But if you can live with that, you wont find better built or sounding gear for the money.
