Nicely designed. But i dont quite understand -- are they occupying just one side of the duplex, or both sides of the duplex as one house ? She said they increased the boundaries, which means they are occupying the entire building, not just one side of it.
@andij6053 жыл бұрын
idk my parents used to live in a similar duplex, they were able to buy a little extra land from the other neighbor, so not the dupled neighbor. so maybe they expanded towards that side?

It's a beautiful home but I think the sense of "calm" might have been disturbed when they realized they were raising a toddler in a house of all hard surfaces, sharp corners and a heck of a steep bare wood staircase with a marble landing waiting the kid when he falls down it. They must have covered him with padding and a safety helmet when he learned to walk. Also, man does this woman love beige ;-)

"Pared back and neutral". Yep that says it all. I don't see a concept here, or an idea about the house. I don't feel any pulse. No heartbeat to this home. It's a set of white boxes. I really don't understand why our attention is being sought for this project. Design is supposed to surprise and give joy and envelope the viewer and the visitor. This does nothing of interest from a design viewpoint.
@diamondcentury213 жыл бұрын

@@DavidRamseyIII Unless you're a vegan you cant really complain much about that. Massive gap in logic when you're eating factory meat everyday but are concerned about a dog's lack of space. Also that back garden is pretty standard size for the UK and our dogs get by just fine
@mdavis19923 жыл бұрын
@@DavidRamseyIII Mate it might be a pedestrian home to you and that’s fine. Just thought it was odd to suggest it’s “ick” because there’s no TV in sight. Not everyone watches TV. As for the dog situation, it seems like a perfectly adequate out door space. The dog doesn’t spend 100% of its time in cooped up in their backyard. Come on now.
