Wow this is the first time I've seen an all concrete house who doesn't feel or look cold. I love the way the architect divided the spaces with this cross method. Very beautiful

We could if people trusted and bought into the process of architectural design. We’d also have to outlaw large scale property development companies

Didn’t expect to see Aires Mateus in the video. Amazing! If we could see a few more renowned architects it would be very interesting. It would also allow us to see how their work adds to the work of the other architects you have on the channel.

Love it- of course. My only concern as someone originally coming from country SA, is the risk of snakes under the house as I have duly noted throughout the video- maybe that’s why an axe is prominent at 4’39”…. 😂

At least he tried to make it feel a bit warmer. I like the wood accents, but from the outside it just looks pretty cold. It feels like a public viewing platform in an area where the city doesn't have much money to make it nice, but the city still wants to do something for its citizens... With a kind of attached public pool which got a bit too small which might be plausible given the sea is nearby... Sorry, but personally I don't like it that much.

This house is so sick. I cheered aloud when they talked about the light cross moving throughout the day. The owner was kinda annoyingly stuffy though, but that's to be expected. His whole thing about keeping the rooftop "pure" was absolute rubbish IMO. Complete waste of an opportunity to make an amazing space to be in. Instead, it's just a spot you can come be in for like 15mins tops, smh

Sigh, another austere bunch of gray rectangles with the stereotypical huge opening glass panels. Are there no insects or blowing dust or flying birds that will drift in as easily as the chickens? Modern architecture liked this leaves me with little hope for the future of culture.
