An Interview with Frank Hannon (Tesla)

We Go To 11 spoke with Tesla guitarist/founding member Frank Hannon who was out promoting their new EP “All About Love.” The EP was released in November 29th, 2024. Hannon gave us the back story on the tune and the different versions included in the EP. We also asked if there’s a chance we’ll ever see that Tesla boxset.

And was especially fond of your guitar skills as I was a few years younger and was really trying to learn as much as I could, sad to say I didn’t turn out nearly as well as I planned, I still enjoy playing though!!! Tesla has been my favorite band since 87. Killer live band. I just saw them for the fourth time a few months ago at Beaver Dam Ky. If you’ve never seen them live, you must!

Great interview. Love the Texas Rangers shirt Frank. I lived in Texas for 25 years. Saw Tesla for the first time in Lubbock Texas where I was a DJ at KFMX radio. Been a fan ever since.

I successfully edited Tesla's Wikipedia page to reflect that they are a "rock band" instead of a "hair metal" band from Sacramento. It took a couple of goes, but it stuck. 😊
