i like what John says concerning his leading the band on the bass because if the bass isn't played correctly, the entire song falls apart. My brother played bass and was a stickler for perfection. I see it in John as well...

I think, John Waite had a hell of an opportunity to stay with the BABY'S !!!! So much potential wasted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feel bad for the Baby's band......
