Ted Nugent was my first concert when I was 15 yrs old. My mom made my sister take me with her. I had never been to a concert except for a Donney Osmond. Lol.. Ted was on stage dressed like a indian with not much covered up . My reaction probably looked something like this 😲 lol.. all I could do was look around at the people around me and watch Ted. Lol . Well then little sister grew up and and loved listening to rock and roll and going to concerts. Then in the early 80's I was in my early 20's saw him and Sammy again at the Texas Jam. Still remember what he said about Texas having best rabbit hunting and about the best women. Im not going to repeat it. Word for word Ted is blunt and don't hold back on words. Lol. I still have that ticket stub. I loved both of their music. I liked watching this video with the two of them. Brought back alot of memories from that time for me. The good ole times and and rock n roll still enjoying listening🎧 to their music ❤️ I give Ted the credit for introducing rock n roll to me. In my 60's now and still listening. We had the best music growing up thanks to these two guys and other musicians.

I met Ted Nugent and his wife and son a long time ago when his son was just a baby, The Nuge did a short set at the local dragstrip where I worked at on weekends, they had funny car night, and jet cars i think. Anyhoo, the owner of the dragstrip knew Ted and he came out and played, Ted ran across the stage and shot a huge cutout of Saddam Hussein right between the eyes while in the air. I saw him play live several times as he would come here for a celebrity hunting trip that he and other big wigs would do for charity. I've met Ted and seen him live several times all right here in my home town that is not a big city, the whole county is about 100,000 people.

So dang GOOD to see two of my VERY BEST all-time favorites lovin’ on each other and jammin’ together! FANFREAKINTASTIC Sammy & Ted! Thanks so much for this episode Sammy! By the way, my answer to that last question is EXACTLY the same as Ted’s. I love Roth as an early Van Halen front man, but IT AIN’T EVEN CLOSE when Sammy Hagar was brought into the mix. The Hagar/Halen collaboration brought a musical maturity to Van Halen that reached down into my soul and moved me to the dad-gum core!! Roth was FUN but fun is superficial compared to the depth of the music Hagar/Halen produced, and that FACT is reflected in the numbers-the record sales. And Sammy, your stage presence and performance as a lead vocalist is second to none! You may just be the coolest, best front man in Rockdom. Worldclass buddy! Thanks for all you’ve brought to the stage for your fans thru the decades. I can’t even begin to imagine the world of Rock ‘n’ Roll without you and the music that came to us thru you. Much gratefulness here…

I was a carpenter in the late 80s till today and also a security detail for the sisters of Vixen "Roxy and Maxine" they owned two bars in the upper peninsula the Tumble inn, and the Hollywood cafe, and ole Uncle Ted did the flaming arrow ribbon cutting ceremony for the latter, that's when I met him and surprised me with the story of not being the typical Rocker! He was addicted to!!!! Well I'll let him tell you that but what a great person he is so animated and patriotic! By the way Ted A local cop was there to watch the show and I don't really like very many cops cause a lot of them were rouge in that town Sault MI, but for the exception of Mr. Hartman, he asked me if I could get him back stage and , well he was so proud to meet Ted every time I saw him he thanked me, it made his day! He launched that arrow and hit the guitar before it hit the floor. The guitar was soaked in lighter fluid or something because it went up in flames too. Amazing shot. And of course his show was out of control. He's an entertaining dude for sure.
