Yes! I'm super looking forward to this insane chronoplaying project. Will the streams be uploaded as VODs on youtube? I'd really like to watch them on my own free time

The year is 1999. The Gamecube has yet to come out, The PC gaming sphere is about to explode, Valve is climbing to the top, and I am an 8 day old infant. The coming months will define my generation and the momentum of gaming as a whole.

A fucking brilliant idea, I love how Tye knows things. He tells you things that Tyler would never know but also doesn't know about things that Tyler definitely has researched, it feels so real!

Really like the contrast between how good a Pentium 3 1000 and 128mb ram was back then compared to hardware now, would love to see more "subtle" comparisons like that that put into perspective of where hardware tech was back in 1999.

Tyler if you want to make it more realistic from 99, you need "idle moments" like, the one who spoken infront of the camera never cared about not saying something for about 3-4 seconds letting the room noise having more presence in sound after saying "We got this report / demo" or the door could open and your wife cames in asking you to sign some peace or paper cause "September 1999 is near you know" or "i need this to be ready.. since yesterday". Telephone rings in the background. I now that today those stuffs are a huge no-go & make someone scared to think about but it was really like that..

It took a minute to catch on to what I was seeing and what you're going for here, but I am so onboard. Sad to see Caleb go but you've got yourself a listener, Tye. (hoping to upgrade to T1 soon)

I agree with you Tyler, making a sequel of Half-Life is unlikely. Black Mesa is already done, and back in april some guy that used to work in 3D Realms, who now works in a new game studio called Gearbox (I really don't know who that guy is) already announced that they are making another game about Black Mesa for Valve. But if sequel won't be set in Black Mesa, will it even be a Half-Life game? How do we define this game in the first place? Realistic and interactive environments, secret government labs, high tech, aliens? What makes this game so special, and how would you imagine a sequel for such game?
