we never see the tough sides of the scientists like this. they are old, studious people who have been caught off-guard in a horrible catastrophe that is making victims of even cockroaches. they jump out of windows, pull eachoter into vents, roam a dangerous and hostile facility by themselves, alone, in the cold.

Maybe after The Dark Ages id can give this abandoned Doom project a try. Either as a Halo 3: ODST style game or a standalone horror shooter.

Looks like the devs worked really hard on this. It might not of been the best Doom game but I feel bad for the people who did all this for it to just be scrapped. At least it looks like some of the models got carried over into Doom 2016.

Im the most passionate VR dev, i got my phd in the field and have decided to dedicate my life to the field because why not. An hour talk on doors is interesting but also i hate doors in games, they are pointless at the fidelity we have just now.

@@repez2 do i look like i don't know what generative ai does??? i mean yeah i guess.. tl;dr: i do agree with the intended message of the description, but i don't like that he phrased it in a serious manner. no, the issue i have with the description is the way tyler _specifically_ phrased it, ie in a very serious way, which is just not fun when paired with a funny video like this, because i'd rather him continue to be silly in the video's metadata as the video itself is silly already.

@@ryanbigguy these ai models are already scraping ai generated content & theyre barely held together by a 100 failsafes stacked on top of eachother, ai is just the current buzzword every1 wants 2 throw around. i doubt its going places. then again, its not that serious, i dont rly care either way. yall pls lighten up n have a good day 4 urself
