As an American who has been watching Doctor Who since the late 70s, I'm just happy to finally know what a Jelly Baby is!

I learned a LOT! I think my Spanish helped me, as a Latin language, with similar terms in everyday speech. Sidenote: I love to hear you say "body." It is so much more elegant and erudite than the open "aw" vowel in our American dialect: "bawdy." I also love to watch you draw your lower-case "a" -a swirl in the opposite direction of mine. And finally (you'll laugh), when you started doing your surgery on the jelly babies, I actually felt a bit squeamish, since we were talking about human bodies!

All these years I've been lied to, I knew there was more to me than meets the eye, I've never felt so segmented. I could listen to that voice all day, learning goes to a whole other level with this amazing young lady, even if it did get a bit gruesome for the jelly babies.

Very interesting. Always love watching these videos by professor Alice Roberts. Jelly babies though look more like jelly E.Ts nowadays I think personally..also Elephant's Owls and a mouse ( I think ) kept jumping into my mind while listening.🤔 Mrs Roberts your like a Jelly Baby body snatcher/slicer...but I like it.

I don't really know how to feel about the fact that I have a crush on a professor who dissects jelly babies on youtube.

Is my thigh more 'tail end' than my leg?

Tricky because you’re past the tail at that point. It’s more proximal!

Alice please tell us what equipment you have on the table: a phone, a tripod and what ...? We need the Online School where the school is closed due to the epidemic.

Călin Perșe Hi Calin - I have a Sony a73 mounted on a pole over my desk, separate mic - and I just use an iPhone for the side view. I edit in iMovie. Hope this helps!

Do you think if a brain matured outside of the skull, it would grow beyond the dimensions of the skull, and in that theoretical situation, do you think it would suffer any ill/pro effects or affects?

Just watched this and realised there are no sweets, let alone Jelly Babies, in the house. Now I have to go all the way to the Co-Op, correct the shop worker on proper limb terminology and buy sweets. Cheers.

Always associated Median as a geometric term when it comes to maps and navigation. i cannot find an emoji to fit my grin, (bit like a missing jigsaw piece from a puzzle snuck into jail).

Many of these terms are so weird when you're used to non-human anatomy like dinosaurs where many terms are different or used differently.
