Good talking. Love the genuine collector enthusiasm. And the reassuring testimony of getting bit by "the bug." I have also been standoff-ish to a number of figures / releases. Then something just happens, and we break.

The first wave was shocking to most of us. Everyone expected each character to be ARAH versions. Getting Snake Eyes #00 before the rest of the figures were released... Had us ready for the retail release of Classified. Of course I bought each and every one. But I wasn't fully satisfied! Thankfully, Hasbro quickly realized "that if they didn't make fast changes".. Classified wouldn't have made it! Absolutely love what we've been getting over the last 4-1/2 years.

I have to admit I was not as disappointed as others with the updated looks. I like that it kept the essence of the character. Roadblock was “meh” but I was ok with Duke and even Gung Ho. Until retro Gung Ho came out… love that release.
