@@Smartychase Ahaha! Well, you asked that question after half a decade! And I am seeing this today lol. My exam must've been okay-ish ig. I am glad it's over now! Damn! So much time has passed! I was finishing my bachelor's degree 6 years ago. Still haven't done my masters. Slacked off too much! Shouldn't be a surprise looking at my main comment. 😂

I've been going to a life coach who uses this form of therapy. It has helped me tremendously in my life and has encouraged me to become a life coach myself using Rogers method.

Thank you for this, very helpful. Just to mention though, that there are other bodies representing counsellors, the National Counselling Society, for example. I think its important to be clear that the BACP do not oversee all counselling services in the UK

Of course there is no evidence for "humans are good" because how on earth do you measure a subjective morality?

This presentation was very good until the slide which contained a qoute from a NLP webpage. I teach at university and was contemplating to show this to my students, but unfortunately now I cannot use your presentation anymore. NLP is quackery, a pseudoscientific hodge podge of various methods and should not be promoted as a serious counselling oder psychotherapy approach, although it has a lot of (uncritical) true believers contributing to spread this nonscientific BS. Sorry for my words, just tried to be congruent in the best rogerian sense here. Seperate the sin from the sinner, my criticism is not meant to be taken personally. Wish you the best!
