I was reading Bhakti yoga , found in 2nd shloka krishna says - the one who worships Lord in the manifested form is dearest to him. But he has considered the ones who worships name and formless supreme also as great yogis and dearest , but says the second path is tougher one for humans since humans are name and form oriented.
