Ok, it's in French, but the images are priceless! Watch the bonobos of Lola in this sweet introduction of bonobos for children.

Until 1:43 "The bonobos are so much like us humans, that we call them our cousins. Bonobos only live in the Democratic Republic of the Congo; they are Congolese like me. They resemble us, and have emotions just like us. As they are small, they need their mothers the same way that I need my mother. They are very dependent on their mother, and they are very fragile. They live in a big family and they play a lot with each other - this is how they learn how to behave when they grow up. It is difficult for them to leave their family - it is nearly impossible. However, we as humans are doing bad things to the bonobos. People hunt them for the meat of our own cousins from in the Congolese forest. In addition, people sell the orphan bonobos - after killing its parents - as a pet to keep as company in the market. This is why the bonobo is endangered. As there numbers are becoming less and less, they could one day disappear if we do not protect the park......."

I am so intrigued by these "cousins" of ours. So gentle.

Our duty is to come for help to our brothers and sisters Bonobos and to all endangered species as well. If not, Humans will get lost themselves definitively! Humans can't live without the others species as they are part of the biodiversity!

1:28 is where I like to see them. Not until every Veteran is off the street and every teacher paid fairly will I worry about a Bonobo. Cannibals and HIV carriers.

Hurting bonobos does not help humans. Don't waste time trying to cover your sadism with concern for teachers or veterans. Are you as keen to help HIV positive veterans and homeless people? Do you support HIV positive teachers? Also your own ancestors were cannibals just few thousand years ago, in some cases hundreds.
