An Introduction to the Immune System

The immune system is a pretty complex system that includes a number of different cell types and organs. Their function is to basically block, destroy or at least neutralize any harmful substances that could enter the body.
And when we look at the immune system, we see that there are three lines of defense. These are three different mechanisms that these foreign invaders need to overcome in order to get into our bodies to cause harm.

You are absolutely amazing thank you so much for this video. 😄 I'm 13 yrs old in grade 8 and I've been, let's just say, having trouble in a particular class. Yes, you guessed it: SCIENCE. I mean it's serious. This science teacher is super bad at explaining (I wish you were my biology teacher). I'm not kidding you, this video just fixed the huge gap in this topic in science in my brain, and now, I really understand how the Immune system works.
