You know what is so wonderful about Stephanie? Her positivity. Her overflowing and abundant joy. She is never negative (at least on camera). She builds others up. She supports others efforts and gives credit where credit is due. Even when "Chtastrophies" (a Lalande thing) happen, no blame is placed, just positive efforts to fix things end up on camera. Even when her private life was outed on TV, never did she once worry about herself, just the people this might impact, she did not take the culprit to task. Publicly support your supporters and privately address those people hurting you. Your subscribers and your wallet will thank you.

Sithe takes forever to trim lawn and weeds lucky you chose a lawnmower and the dovecote wall not stable perhaps put caution tape to warn or fence? Free food and drink. They are being neighborly. Nice lady have followed her Vlog from start. Must have been scary over Covid? Need a network of people to rely on. Stephanie knows several good workers to help out.Will be a fun evening! Get some weed and feed and a spreader. Put that on the lawn before in rains. It works so well. We just used it. Here in Pennsylvania. Everyone else uses a lawn service. Ours is looking pretty good.👍😘

We stayed at Lalande last summer; as you say, its a magical chateau. Listening to your comments about the meeting; I said to Stephanie at the time that I wished that I hadn't seen any of the You Tube stuff - because I felt like I just wanted to start from scratch and ask all sorts of questions about the building and her journey there. Vivienne and her daughter were also staying for the the first time - totally charming. Thanks for another lovely episode guys. Hi Carole. 😘. We first looked at the joists from the ground floor and they are all sound and sturdy and the wood floor is better than it looks. Buried under a lot of dirt. I love your concern! The space is fantastic and will, hopefully, become the bedrooms for the farmhouse. Stephanie and Philip were so kind and are truly even kinder and friendlier than they seem in the vlog. Wow! That find of roof tiles is wonderful. Once the floor is formed up, that above garage space is really quite lovely! Would make a wonderful apartment space. Bats might need to move eventually but it’s nice that they are taking care of mosquitos and bugs for you, in the meanwhile. Glad you met Stephanie and her crew finally! Hi Christine. I was too busy to really notice the roof tiles and went back and re watched. I agree that that space will be great. Either as an apartment or as the space for the bedrooms and bathrooms for the farmhouse. We love our bats. We have quite a few bats zooming around the property and courtyard. Hi Christine. I was too busy to really notice the roof tiles and went back and re watched. I agree that that space will be great. Either as an apartment or as the space for the bedrooms and bathrooms for the farmhouse. We love our bats. We have quite a few bats zooming around the property and courtyard. I think restoring these doors and their hardware in place is the smartest approach. A good product to have on hand is the French equivalent of penetrating oil. The US brand I prefer is Liquid Wrench. You will find many uses for it on rusty hardware, hinges, locks, etc. Spray it on let it work in for a day or two and then clean the item. You can free up the works of old locks, metal tools as well as help remove built up rust on nearly anything.

Bonjour Gentlemen! Have you considered a metal detector. Maybe Stephanie would love some figs if you have a bumper crop. Maybe selling the lawn tractor in US and buying one there may be a alternative way of dealing with the problem. Glad to see fur babies are doing well. And yes! the front doors are beautiful. Finally, many of the chateau owners seem to have bought a cherry picker due to the height problem and it is safer than ladders extended so high.

Good morning Patrick & Stuart, that was interesting the two doors for outside were the same! Usually the front door is more ornate, well to each's own as they say. The garden is starting to get structure for sure. It was most interesting when you opened the small door above the garage. They sure knew abut saving spaces. It looks like there are some missing tiles on the roof, that can be sorted perhaps from the inside. I think a cherry picker would be just the job, it is much safer and very versatile. Billy proved that from Doing it ourselves fame. It is great to chat with other Chateau owners they can share the do's and don'ts or just watch their videos. Dogs are like kids, they are a great responsibility and I am afraid they do come first before pleasures. I am sure shortly, maybe the next summer season you will also be able to host your own socials, and I just know it will be very smart and nice, not trying to out do anyone else, just be yourselves. Enjoyed your video, so good when you can have a good laugh about yourselves. Don't let those figs go to waste, start preparation for making jam. It is easy and remember to add some ginger, it is an amazing flavour. Do take care in the meantime, looking forward to your next episode of life at the Chateau.
