Bravo! You can find the other edition. The ornamentation is much different.

I'm thoroughly impressed! I love the fact that he's playing in a basement, or parking garage to give the recorder that haunting reverb. Nevermind the fact that there's not a harpsichord playing instead of a piano. How many people do you know that own a harpsichord??? It's an angelic performance.

Dear Michael, you have a good spirit! Your interpretation of this famous ground is really romantic, not so baroque but beauty. the sound of you istrument, and it is one of the most important thing on the recorder, is good and well tuned. Bravo.

the problem is that the continuo should be on a harpshicorp. i played this not as good as him and the continuo has to be harpsicorp. excellent job for michael...

i assume this piece is a medieval piece so older than vivaldi. but i might very well be wrong.

I hope this piece was composed by Vivaldi! I was big fan of him!

@recorderfan Well, I'm not against piano accompaniment per se; I wasn't militating for original instruments. But the piano part could be played more in a manner of a harpsichord, using much less pedal, for example -- especially when performed in a parking garage, ha -- and clearly, accurately, etc.

Too bad the piano accompaniment wasn't as stellar. It's like having caviar with beans.
