@Akuma Demon, "Much" older? You probably would think my husband is my dad then because his beard is grey! My niece's dad is way older than my sister, and people consistently think SHE is older. Her current husband is younger and I think he looks 30 years older. Assuming things isn't always correct, sometimes, but often not.

While Italian cooking is up there with the great cuisines of the world, if not the greatest, Italians have contributed much much more to western culture and the world at large. Just to name a few: A republic government, advanced water delivery systems, the Renaissance along with some of the greatest artists, scientists, thinkers, and explorers of all time (Marco Polo, Columbus, Vespucci, Galileo, Davinci, Bernini, Michelangelo, Machiavelli), major contributions to nuclear science, and yes, smart enough to steal the radio from Tesla and the world cup from the French in 2006.

Is it me or is every part of Thanksgiving dinner “Harper’s favorite?” 🤔 I think that as an international couple, it’s good that you come up with your own traditions. A bunch of people coming together and creating something new; that’s America! Happy Thanksgiving, guys! 🇮🇹🇺🇸

So, you serve venison, rabbit and goose for Thanksgiving? Turkeys are from Mexico. Potatoes are from Peru. Carrots are from Europe. Where are the beans and squash? Have a blessed holiday Father Waters.

People need to learn that boiled and steamed vegetables are also the way to have it, not that fancy crap with roasting them in the oven; root vegetables mashed; and turkey made without all this brining stuff.

@@haroldhenderson2824 Wild turkey range is most definitely the US (coast to coast), parts of Canada and part of Mexico.

@@haroldhenderson2824 Turkeys are far more American than Mexican. Wild turkeys still thrive in the eastern third of the country. Their range in Mexico is much smaller. Turkeys are as American as corn, pumpkin, beans and tobacco. The Pilgrims may not have eaten turkey at the first Thanksgiving meal but they should have because New England's forests were chock full of them at the time and they are today as well.

living in the West Indies was always interesting around Thanksgiving - turkey stuffed with spicy rice, different side dishes, and a family feeding frenzy! "When has this show ever been fair to Eva?" good one, Harper! I'd like to see a cartoon version of this show one time. I think someone really talented could catch Eva's facial expressions and bring them out, like when she tastes something she (really) doesn't like.

We have to remember not all of America is the same with Thanksgiving classics. An example is where I am from the #1 dessert is Sweet Potato Pie not Pumpkin. It’s amazing how different the North is from the South and mid West is from the West Coast. Every region is so unique.

Harper, you now have to make Eva a real, traditional, New England Thanksgiving dinner. We're talking jellied Ocean Spray cranberry sauce from the can, Stove Top stuffing, roasted Turkey (I'm trying spatchcocking it this year), whipped sweet potato, real pumpkin pie, and old fashioned gravy. Everything looked delicious, so don't get me wrong, but Eva can try some of our traditions too.
