I believe in musicians taking liberties with other people's songs and "making it their own," but the whole essence of the original song has been removed by this musician. The words are the same but the music is so different as to render the words meaningless. Stop the war Russia!

He ruined the song for me. No doubt he has a fine voice. But his way of singing was different in a bad way. The best part of this song is the mystery. He sang it like it was a promotional song for the hotel.
